What never crossed the minds of the pundits and followers of so-called "chavismo", is that it is based more upon expressions of religious nature such as SANTERIA, than on ideological reflection or political dialectics which are part-and-parcel of the conflicts experienced during Chavez's period at the head of this Government. What is certain is that to study Chávez and his government involves political conceptions the likes of Communism or outdated utopian socialism, that there is a history to consider, from Bolivar to Rafael Caldera, yet nevertheless when it comes down to Chávez the fundamental thing is the mystical message that he finds in the recommendations of the hundreds of healers, wizards, parapsychologist, and such that have advised him.
