In the past few days, Republican presidential nominee John McCain has shown just how clueless he really is by repeatedly claiming that it is "common knowledge" that Al Qaeda terrorists are being trained in Iran to fight in Iraq. It is common knowledge that Al Qaeda is Sunni and Iran is Shiite. How could somebody who wants to be president not know that the Sunnis and the Shiites are historic rivals -- and more mortal enemies in Iraq?

So I'm curious: does Hillary Clinton still think that John McCain is more qualified than Barack Obama to be Commander-in-Chief? Is this the "lifetime of experience" that she claimed John McCain would bring to the White House?

If Barack Obama had said something this stupid, wouldn't the Clinton campaign have rushed out a radio spot, two TV ads, and been on their third conference calls with reporters by now?

Looking at the blistered paint on her steel firewall doors in Texas and Ohio this morning, Hillary Clinton can breathe a sigh of relief. Her firewall held! Her desperate decision to use extremely poisonous fire-retarding agents in the last few days paid off!

So what if her protect-at-all-costs strategy comes at such a high price? So what if we now all have to breathe the highly carcinogenic asbestos particles that are floating in the air, the fallout of her self-preserving, win-at-all-costs measures?

Her firewall held, right?
