New Bumper Sticker: John Bush-Sarah Cheney

We are witnessing the reincarnation of George Bush and Dick Cheney based on McCain's 90% support of Bush policies and Palin's media blackout, take no prisoners management style and disdain for citizens.

John Bush and Sarah Cheney must have very low intelligence, finishing fifth from the bottom at the Navy Academy and enrolling in six schools before graduating, respectively.

They are depending on low-information, uneducated voters to elect them.

Palin: "So Sambo beat the Bitch"

LA Progressive is reporting that Sarah Palin said “So Sambo beat the bitch!” when Obama beat Clinton in the primary.  www.laprogressive.com.

Palin: "Sambo Beat the Bitch"

The LA Progressive quoting Alaskans sharing stories about racial comments attributed to Sarah Palin.  If any of it is true, we have got to get the word out.  Here is the link.

LA Paper: Palin said "Sambo beat the Bitch"

Just ran across article in the LA Progressive about Sarah Palin's accepted references to non-whites in Alaska.  http://www.laprogressive.com/

McCain's sexism

A few months ago, it was Sarah Palin who suggested the Hillary Clinton was whining about the media scrutiny.  Now the McCain campaign is whining for Palin.  Since when does a VP nominee need to be protected from the media?  Now, that's sexism! If she can't withstand media scrunity about her decisions and behaviors in office, then she should have just said no to John McCain.  With 60 days til the election, McCain cannot expect America to just bend over and look the other way while he visits chaos on the election process.

Palin: So what exactly does a VP do?

McCain camp is claiming they fully vetted Palin.  Just curious, why did she say on CNBC in July what exactly does a VP do?  If she was fully vetted and sat for hours of interviews with the vetting team, it would seem that she would ask herself ifshe were unclear.  Asking the question on national television, as a governor, raises serious questions about her aptitude to be VP based on a lack of understanding of the branches of government.

McCain and Rove's Imperfect Storm

WOW!  A deposition, an unwed pregnant teen, a bridge to nowhere, a 527 and Ted Stevens, and a DWI are now going to fill the airwaves to clearly demonstrate that McCain didn't vet Palin and is therefore unfit to make decisions for the country.

This is not what McCain and Rove planned to divert attention from Obama's masterpiece. They had hoped Palin would change the subject and energize the GOP. They also hoped that Hurricane Gustuv would help redeem the GOP.

Instead, McCain and Rove must now deal with the aftermath of their imperfect storm: Hurricane Palin.

And the real victim is Palin's oldest daughter who now has to live with a scarlet letter because of her mother's blind ambition.  Palin fell short in protecting her children. Now family values and experience are off the table.

Nothing could have prepared Palin and her family for the national spotlight. The microscope is simply too intense.

Hopefully, McCain and Rove will create an exit strategy for Palin to gracefully go back to Alaska and tend to her family and her state.  Her 15 minutes in the national spotlight may create a lifetime of pain for her family and her reputation.

McCain's "Me Too"

Sarah Palin is being played by Karl Rove.  Background: everything that Hillary tried to use against Obama failed: inexperience, bitter-gate, bringing up assassination, Wright, Rezco, Ayers, etc.

With the help of Fox, Limbaugh and some lazy reporters, McCain thought all of that  along with Brittany, Paris, Moses and being a POW would surely bring him down.

But Obama is still standing on the message of change.

Palin is the pawn in the McCain's last-ditch effort to stay relevant.  McCain is screaming, me too! me too!  I am about change. I got a woman on my ticket.

Change is not about gender nor race. It is about policy. Window dressing in the workplace is a tactic of the 1970s.
Trying to co-op Obama's message of change is shallow if the policies are the same.

John McCain's "soulmate"

McCain told Fox News that Palin was his soulmate.  Their spouses should be concerned.  Clearly a remarked reserved for loved ones.

John McCain's apprentice

At first glance, Sarah Palin seems to be a fine American.  She has been governor for less than two years.  She was a mayor for two years prior to that.  She's served on the city council.  Those are the right titles on her resume.

However, what voters really have to ask is does she have the experience and knowledge to be vice president and president given McCain's age.  Based on published reports, she doesn't know what the VP does, wondering if it would keep her busy like being governor.  She's impressed with the title of governor and thinks being VP is a step down in title on her resume. Obviously the magnitude of the office is lost on her. Can you imagine her as president of the US Senate, one of the many roles of the VP?

As an observer of the republican party, I have noticed that every criticism leveled at Obama also applies to almost everything John McCain does.  I remember Mitt Romney telling CNN that the presidency isn't an internship. There's no on the job training.

Low and behold you have Charlie Black saying that Palin will sit at the knees of the foreign policy master and learn the ropes during his first term.   Side note: Perhaps Black should rephrase that. The concept and visual of a young, good looking woman (28 years younger than McCain) sitting at John McCain's knees isn't something the republicans want to emphasize given McCain's history with women.  What's more, how can you nominate someone who is being investigated by a bipartisan panel.

Everyone is thinking McCain's pick is about Clinton's supporters.  Yes, the neocons will lover her. There will be some voters who will vote for McCain because Palin is a woman. Others will vote for McCain because they can't vote for a black man. But the real target is old white men and, especially, the bubbas and veterans. John McCain needs a large block of voters to support him.

Palin lacks the insight, knowledge and fortitude to really make a difference.

And in the words of Donald Trump, Sarah Palin, you're fired. You will not be the VP apprentice.
