Bio

Born, raised and educated in Ashland, Ore. Earned bachelor and master degrees in liberal arts and education. Held editorial and managment positions at several mid-sized newspapers. Currently single and dislikes dating. Family includes two sons and four grandchildren. Ditched jobs in publishing in response to dying industry; took depression-proof position in grocery to ensure roof over head and food in belly while country is recovering from Bush-enomics. Joined labor union (UFCW Local 21), became a steward and am actively involved in our union's government activities.
