Fearing Secret Weapons Transfers -- Dutch Parliament Investigates Deadly 1992 Crash of El Al Jet
The El Al Boeing 747 crashed into an apartment building in Bijlmeer, a suburb of Amsterdam, killing 39 people on the ground and four aboard the plane. It was carrying a secret cargo that included the main chemical ingredients for the nerve gas sarin as well as depleted uranium (DU). Dutch journalists allege it was carrying weapons-grade plutonium as well.
As many as 2,000 local residents and firemen have reported health complaints that they attribute to the crash. Many report loss of hair in the weeks after the crash, a sign of radiation disease.
The chemicals were being sent to a super-secret weapons facility, called the Israel Institute of Biological Research (IIBR) south of Tel Aviv.
The Israeli government has claimed that the chemicals were intended for testing gas masks. But most military services use only a few grams for such purposes. The chemicals aboard the El Al jet were enough to produce 270 kilograms of sarin nerve gas -- enough to annihilate the populations of many major cities.
The sarin components came from the Solkatronics chemical plant in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, then owned by Solvay, a chemical corporation based in Brussels, Belgium. International transport of such materials is a violation of the Chemical Weapons Treaty, signed by the U.S.
Dutch authorities and El Al admit Flight LY1862 carried sarin components and DU, but refuse to provide details on six tons of military cargo. According to airport security personnel, the plane carried seven pallets of unspecified munitions.
Journalist Dekker claims, on the basis of leaks from Dutch officials, that the jet carried 27 kilograms of weapons-grade plutonium, enough to make seven warheads the size of the bomb that was dropped on Nagasaki in 1945.
In addition, soil samples taken at the crash site have turned up evidence suggesting that nuclear weapons technology was being illegally shipped from the U.S. to Israel.
Dutch and Israeli authorities apparently organized a cover-up. Most documents taken from El Al officials have disappeared. Police audio tapes and 42 videotapes taken by the firefighters were shredded. Firemen claimed that they turned in the cockpit voice recorder, or "black box," but the government denies that it was ever found. Metal parts from the wreckage were recycled and melted down before a proper investigation could begin.

Since the crash, Bijlmer survivors - residents, police and rescue workers - have sought treatment for a host of maladies including fatigue, breathing problems, hair loss, neurological ailments, mental confusion, depression, encephalomyelitis and disabling joint pains.
Mouin Rabbani, writing in Middle East International, describes the IIBR as "the Israeli military and intelligence community's front organization for the development, testing and production of chemical and biological weapons.[b] It was IIBR that provided the poison (and the antidote) used in the attempted assassination of a Hamas leader in Jordan in 1998."
The Dutch press raised a host of vexing questions: Why were the 12 hours of videotape made during the rescue and clean-up operation (42 cassettes in all) erased and shredded? Why were police audiotapes also run through the shredder? What happened to seized El Al documents that subsequently disappeared? Why had the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) mysteriously disappeared?

Al Saifi lives adjacent to the newly formed pool of waste. Last week Israel ceased the delivery of all fuel and supplies into and out of Gaza. The effects have been catastrophic. The sewage treatment plant requires 20,000 litres of fuel per day to run only in Al Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
Silent now without fuel, the waste backs up, flooding the streets and clogging the plumbing initiating what the Ministry of Health calls an "environmental catastrophe" in Gaza.

Hard Choices
Dr. Mawia Hasaneen, Director of Emergency and Reception at Gaza largest hospital Al Shifa Hospital warns of the consequences in cutting off Gaza’s fuel.
“We have to choose between cutting the electricity on babies in the maternity ward, cutting it to heart patients or shutting down our operating rooms.”
Circumstances are forcing doctors to choose resemble a medicinal version of Sophie’s Choice.
“It’s getting worse day by day!” Said Ammar states in disbelief.
In an e-mail Christine McNab, acting director of communications, World Health Organization in Geneva elaborates that, “Our current concerns are about the supply of electricity to health facilities, the ability to move medical supplies into the region, and the ability of people to seek care outside of Gaza,” she writes.
McNab notes that even if the full blockade is lifted, additional measures need to be taken by the international community to ensure no further disruptions can occur.

Ammar, a father and of four and engineer sits alone in his dark shop, flabbergasted by the global apathy and willingness to allow Israel to withhold basic life necessities from 1.5 million people. Asked if he believes Hamas is the problem, he answers firmly, “Hamas has never been the problem. The occupation has always been the big problem.”
Ammar adds he considers through their complicity President Abbas and West Bank Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad to be acting as agents of Israel.
When pressed for qualification, the distraught father explains, 'Abbas and Fayyad gave away all our Palestinian rights, leaving nothing. And now Israel is attacking Nablus and Jenin on a daily basis!” he interjects in disgust.
“Abbas doesn’t deserve 1% of the respect that Arafat earned.” Ammar concludes.
Food Scarce
Gaza bakeries ceased operations due to the blockade. Without power and flower bakers are unable to bake fresh pita, a staple of the Palestinian diet. The director of Gaza’s UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) formerly petitioned Israel to reopen the crossings appealing to the international community to help Gaza’s civilians.
The power station's shutdown has 'plummeted Gaza City, with its 600,000 residents into darkness,' Director John Ging at a news conference emphasized how the loss of electricity 'affects every aspect of the civilian population's lives here in Gaza. If you visit any of the hospitals you will find that its generators are only producing enough electricity to keep essential equipment going. They are very cold, all of the wards, adding to the misery of the patients.”
Rafah based widow Rajaa Shalil 38 and mother of four children explains how the lack of staples impacts her family. “Our kitchen is empty — I don’t have milk , bread and rice for my children” she cries.
Ask her opinion on Hamas, she replies, “My respect for Hamas has increased more than ever. I love them for their empathy for the weak.”
Not all of Gaza’s residents feel this way. When asked who is to blame for Gaza’s Crisis Abu Mohammed, 41 states angrily.
“Israel and Hamas are the reason for this. Before, we were all in better conditions, but since Hamas took over Gaza they have been unable to handle it.”
Throughout Gaza residents huddled around wood fires, others using candles or kerosene lamps for light in protest. Entire families join in protest shouting, “End this unfair siege! Open the borders!” And “Rescue our lives!”
Official Israeli sources cite approximately 150 homemade rockets have been fired from Gaza into Israel since Israel commenced this latest raid. Two Israelis have been slightly wounded and several dozen treated for shock. Israel continues to retaliate with tanks and F-16’s firing Hellfire missiles, shells, mortars into Gaza’s neighborhoods, 76 Palestinians have been killed, another 293 injured since January 1, 2008, according to Dr. Hasaneen

What about the Qassams? Tell the Shin Bet to stop launching their Israeli made Qassams at the Israelis.

Key questions hanging over the event will be whether the church will decide to use its $16 billion pension fund as an economic tool against Israel, and whether divestment would shatter the church's traditional relationship with American Jews.
If the church moves ahead with a divestment resolution on the national level, the denomination would become the largest Protestant group to embrace such a measure. The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, which has 2.4 million members, voted in favor of such a measure in 2004. Another important liberal denomination, the United Church of Christ, went in the other direction last summer when it opted to engage in a "balanced study" of the Middle East conflict.

Americans almost made it through the year without being subjected to yet another boring spiel from the Anti-Defamation League’s chief honcho and know-it-all, Abe Foxman. Unfortunately, on Dec. 27, 2003, the “Washington Post,” opened its Op Ed Page to the old windbag. If there was any justice left in the world, it should have made Foxman take out a paid advertisement in order to do his egregious pimping for Zionist Israel.
Foxman’s latest rant is entitled, “Open to Debate in Israel.” I wondered after reading it: Shouldn’t he be required to register with the U.S. Justice Department as an agent for a foreign-based principal? Huh? Keep in mind, that he makes $450,000 a year for being a one-man, hot-air propaganda machine. At a minimum, Foxman, a card carrying Zionist, should have been required by the editors of the “Washington Post,” to come clean, on the record, about all of his Israeli connections, so that an unsuspecting reading public would have been put on notice about his biases.
In any event, Foxman was all in a tizzy. No, this time, it wasn’t Mel Gibson’s soon-to-be-released movie, “The Passion of Christ,” that was arousing his ire. Foxman was upset because his favorite country, Israel, was recently criticized at Geneva, by Yossi Beilin, a former Israeli minister of justice, and Yasser Abed Rabbo, an ex-Palestinian information minister. They were advocating a peace plan for the Middle East. Foxman claims their action threatens, “to delegitimize and isolate the Israeli government.” He also whined that they were attacking “Israel’s fundamental legitimacy as a sovereign state.” Poor Israel! Poor Americans, too, who read Foxman’s contrived drivel!
The pompous ADL boss thinks this so-called, “Geneva Accord,” (an unofficial framework for Middle East peace), is all part of a sinister plot to “disrespect Israel’s democratic institutions.” Oh, come off it, Foxman! That sounds like classic conspiracy mongering to me.
Some critics, like Amnesty International, however, have dared to directly challenge Israel’s claim to be a democracy, particularly for its use of fascist-like death squads. I’m sure even Foxman would agree there isn’t anything “democratic” about Israeli thugs killing unarmed Palestinians, without a trial or even any semblance of due process of law. (And, by the way, when, if ever, is Elie Wiesel, who once wrote, “To remain silent and indifferent is the greatest sin of all...” going to address the Israeli death squads’ issue?)
In the last three years alone, over 152 Palestinians have been targeted for extra judicial assassination by the Tel Aviv-based operatives (phrmg.org). It would be interesting to know: How exactly do Sharon’s death squads function? Does the Israeli Cabinet have to officially approve of each designated murder? Is there a written record of the death squad meetings? Or, is it done, with nods and winks, by a death squad committee? Who decides in Israel, what Palestinian will be executed and which Palestinian will live? If an official in the Sharon regime insists that a certain Palestinian is a “militant,” does that unchallenged comment become a death sentence for the particular Palestinian? And, do Sharon’s death squads plan any targeted hits outside Israel: like say, in Iraq, Europe, or even in the U.S.? (If it’s the latter, I would like to know because my “Hate Mail” file is growing at an alarming rate since my latest book, accusing the Israel First Brigade of helping to bring on the Iraq War, was published.)
It is simply amazing to watch Foxman pontificate, in the media, ad nauseam, ad infinitum, about his beloved Israel, without once using words, like: “occupation,” “bulldozer,” “Rachel Corrie,” “Rafah,“ “torture,” “Sabra & Shatila,“ Apartheid Wall,” “refugee camps,” “displaced persons,” “demolition orders,” “UN Security Council Resolution 242,” “Jenin,” “collective punishment,” “human shields,” “illegal settlements,” “detention without trial” and “Geneva Convention.” How does Foxman get away with ignoring the truth about the tragic fate of the Palestinians under Israeli rule? How?
Foxman swears Israel has a “healthy democracy” because oppositional figures are heard all of the time. Sure, they are! Unless, of course, they are protesting its notorious Apartheid Wall, than they can be shot by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) with live ammunition, like Israeli activist Gil Naamati was last Friday (“Baltimore Sun,” 12/29/03).

]]>Orli, together with other survivors, has formed an organization called YESH -- Children and Orphans Holocaust Survivors in Israel, which is preparing a lawsuit against Germany. "We want the German government to recognize our suffering," says Orli.
A lot of money is at stake. The representatives of the children of the Shoah are demanding more than the usual compensation. They want their clients to receive an orphan's pension -- "the same as the children of fallen Wehrmacht soldiers," Orli explains. His organization wants every surviving member of the children of the Shoah to be paid €7,200 for each year spent as an orphan. For the 250,000 survivors still alive today, that would come to €1.8 billion per orphaned year. The Holocaust survivors' group also wants the German government to pay for health disorders and the loss of career opportunities.
The children of the Shoah are not the only survivors' rights group filing new claims against Germany. Indeed, the German government is facing a wave of lawsuits and new demands. Some of those filing the current suits were forgotten when the original compensation treaties were drawn up, some were deliberately left out, and others missed the necessary deadlines. Holocaust reparations have become an "endless story," says Constantin Goschler, a German historian and author of the definitive work "Schuld und Schulden. Die Politik der Wiedergutmachung für NS-Verfolgte seit 1945" ("Guilt and Debts. The Politics of Reparations for Nazi Victims since 1945").
The material aspects of the process of dealing with Germany's Nazi past, begun right after the war by then Chancellor Konrad Adenauer and then Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, were originally supposed to have been completed by the late 1960s. After tough negotiations between the Jewish Claims Conference (JCC) and Germany, the German parliament, the Bundestag, ratified the "Final Federal Compensation Law" in 1965, which set a 1969 deadline for the filing of complaints. There was considerable agreement between the parties at the time, so much so that then JCC Chairman Nahum Goldmann called the German law a "harmonious settlement."
He was wrong, as has become clear today. In addition to lawsuits being filed by various victims' groups, the Jewish Claims Conference is back at the negotiating table with the German Finance Ministry. The Israeli government is also calling on Berlin to make additional payments, even though Jerusalem signed a written promise, after the end of the compensation negotiations, that the Jewish state would "file no further claims against the Federal Republic of Germany."
Israeli Minister of Pensioners Affairs Rafi Eitan is the cabinet minister responsible for the issue.
He is still banned from entering the United States today, because he recruited American intelligence agent Jonathan Pollard as a spy. Pollard was sentenced to life in prison.
Eitan has little use for diplomatic niceties, as Berlin has already learned. In a letter he wrote in August to the head of the German Chancellery, Thomas de Maizière, Eitan demanded that Berlin forgive all of Israel's debt to Germany -- a total of about €500 million. Israel, he wrote, wanted to deposit the money into a fund for Holocaust survivors. When Deputy Finance Minister Karl Diller visited Jerusalem recently (more...), Eitan repeated his unusual proposal. When Diller told him that Germany could hardly comply with his wish, the minister replied: "Then just give us the money."
Eitan has a long list of demands. In addition to debt cancellation, he wants the German government to provide about €26 million a year for a group of 8,000 Holocaust survivors who have yet to receive any compensation at all. He also wants the Germans to recognize the so-called "second circle" survivors who managed to escape internment in ghettos or camps by fleeing Nazi-occupied areas. The Israeli government has allocated €90 million to help this group of people.

P.S. A curious side note to this imbroglio is that in Israel, most of the "alleged" victims of the Holocaust© live in poverty, since Israel refuses to part with the extorted money it has received from the world.
About 80,000 Holocaust survivors still live in poverty in Israel today. In August the state comptroller, a sort of Israeli ombudsman for all kinds of disputes and controversies, published a report sharply critical of the government for its treatment of Holocaust survivors. According to the report, the state has "the ultimate moral obligation to address the welfare of the Holocaust survivors without delay." The government's lapses are all the more serious, wrote the state comptroller, because the reparations agreement deprived the survivors of the right to demand compensation from Germany.

One woman was killed and 47 others were injured –mostly children and women who had been inside their homes or playing on the street!! Scenes of children injured, bleeding and crying just moments after they had been enjoying a wedding celebration in a Gaza wedding hall…a horrific sight likely to go without mention of that in most news sources.

After pandering to Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert's right-wing government last week, US president George W. Bush carried the Israeli/neoconservative campaign against Iran to Arab countries. Sounding as authentic as the "Filipino Monkey," Bush told the Arab countries that "Iran is the world's leading state sponsor of terror," and that "Iran's actions threaten the security of nations everywhere."
To no effect. Every country in the world, except America, knows by now that the US is the world's leading state sponsor of terror and that the neoconservative drive for US hegemony over the world threatens the security of nations everywhere. But before we get into this, let's first see what Bush means by "terrorist" and Iran's sponsorship of terrorism.
Bush considers Iran to be the leading state sponsor of terror, because Iran is believed to fund Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in the Palestinian ghetto. Hezbollah and Hamas are two organizations that exist because of Israeli aggression against Palestine and Lebanon. The two organizations are branded "terrorist" because they resist Israel's theft of Palestine and Israel's designs on southern Lebanon. Both organizations are resistance organizations. They resist Israel's territorial expansion and this makes them "terrorist."
They are terrorists because they don't receive billions in US military aid and cannot put armies in the field with tanks, fighter jets and helicopter gunships, backed up by US spy satellites and Israel's nuclear weapons – although Hezbollah, a small militia, has twice defeated the Israeli army. However, Palestine is so thoroughly under the Israeli heel that Hamas can resist only with suicide bombers and obsolete rockets. It is dishonest to damn the terrorist response but not the policies that provoke the response.
Many deaths result from American bombing of civilian populations as the Israelis did in Lebanon and do in Gaza. There is nothing new about these bombings. President Clinton bombed civilians in Serbia in order to dictate policy to Serbia. But when Americans and Israelis bomb other peoples, it is not terror. It is only terror when the US or Israel is attacked in retaliation.
The Israeli assault from the air on Beirut apartment houses is not terror. But when a Palestinian puts on a suicide belt and blows himself up in an Israeli cafe, that's terror. When Clinton bombs a Serbian passenger train, that's not terror, but when a buried explosive takes out an American tank somewhere in Iraq, that's terror.

US military families, and British families - who lost ill-equipped husbands and sons in Iraq - might even be a little upset if they knew some of the owners of the US Federal Reserve Bank are powerful foreign investors from old Europe, including, reportedly, partners with giant US banks such as JP Morgan Chase as well as powerful Wall Street firms like Goldman Sachs - a world order banking cartel whose tentacles have profited from every global business activity - and every war - for the last two centuries.
The one attempt in the 20th century to break the power of this defacto-private bank, for this is precisely what the Federal Reserve is - when founded its board comprised 80% private bankers 20% government representatives – failed spectacularly. 44 years ago John F Kennedy attempted to end the Federal Reserve System to eliminate the national debt this ‘so called’ central bank creates by printing money and lending it to government.
The private banking cartels meanwhile can plan the next stage in the great game. The single world currency - reportedly to be called the Phoenix - full spectrum financial dominance, another war perhaps?

1913: The private bankers of the misnamed "Federal Reserve" are put in charge of the nation's money supply. Shortly thereafter, the government re-institutes the federal income tax.
Within one year of these two actions taking place, World War I erupts, condemning millions to death and hundreds of millions to suffering, pain and misery, while an elite few rake in untold billions of dollars in profits from their investments and war profiteering.

Listen to what Louis T. McFadden, who was the Chairman of the House Banking Committee in the 1930's, had to say about the Federal Reserve:

The Federal Reserve Board, a Government Board, has cheated the Government of the United States and he people of the United States out of enough money to pay the national debt. The depredations and the iniquities of the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal reserve banks acting together have cost this country enough money to pay the national debt several times over. This evil institution has impoverished and ruined the people of the United States; has bankrupted itself, and has practically bankrupted our Government. It has done this through the maladministration of that law by which the Federal Reserve Board, and through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it".

After making this statement, McFadden was attacked in print and in person. He was labeled "Anti-Semitic" and suffered two attempts on his life, a failed shooting and an apparent poisoning that made him "violently ill" after attending a political banquet in Washington.
Not long after these attempts on his life, McFadden died of "heart-failure sudden-death" on Oct. 3, 1936, after a "dose" of "intestinal flu."
Who are some of the private bankers of the Federal Reserve? The Rothschilds of London and Berlin; Lazard Brothers of Paris; Israel Moses Seif of Italy; Kuhn, Loeb and Warburg of Germany; and the Lehman Brothers, Goldman, Sachs and the Rockefeller families of New York.
Some of the same hooligans who not only helped start the Iraq War, but are now profiting handsomely from that exercise in brutality, mass murder and genocide.

Former Prime Minister Netanyahu, opposition Likud party's hardline chairman who opposes the US-backed Annapolis peace process, reiterated to President Bush his stance, that a pre-emptive nuclear strike against Iran's nuclear installations was the only way to stop the Islamic nation's nuclear weapons ambitions.
"I told him my position and Bush agreed," Netanyahu told Israel Radio.
"Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more..." For the sake of Israel, the easily fooled and gullible Bush will sign the death warrants of countless American kids and possible hundreds of thousands Iranians, all to placate Israel by nuking an "existential" enemy of Israel.
Bush wants to bomb Iranian "knowledge" of nuclear weapons.
If anyone would know that "knowledge" is dangerous, it would be Bush. Or in his case, the lack of knowledge.

Democracy should serve the values of the state, not destroy them.” In any case, Feiglin said, “You can’t teach a monkey to speak and you can’t teach an Arab to be democratic. You’re dealing with a culture of thieves and robbers. Muhammad, their prophet, was a robber and a killer and a liar. The Arab destroys everything he touches.”

In the above context, Eretz Israel would comprise, roughly, all of modern-day Israel as well as the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Golan Heights, Jordan, and Lebanon, much of Syria, Iraq, and Kuwait, as well as parts of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey.
Maybe the Israeli flag, which has two blue stripes, one represeting the River Nile and the other, the River Euphrates, should be changed.
The blue stripes should be changed to the color red.

The statement said that all 520 assaults were violations of international law.
36 incidents of direct shooting and physical attacks on medics and ambulances in cities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, resulted in the injury of 13 medics. A Palestinian citizen died at the Tunnels checkpoint near Bethlehem in the southern West Bank on June 29th after the Israeli soldiers manning the checkpoint denied him entry to hospital in Jerusalem. Sixteen ambulances were damaged in 2007 and one was completely destroyed.
The overall number of assaults on medics and ambulances in 2007 has almost doubled compared with 2005 and 2006.
The number of assaults has doubled from 2005-06? Well of course, since the Israeli's realize they can get away with murder--literally.
Who will call them to task for their crimes? Certainly not the craven, corrupt and immoral cowards in the U.S. Congress.
Nor the Neocon War Pigs that stole the White House in 2000 and 2004.
And certainly not the American MSM, who are too busy reporting REAL news, like Britney's latest flair-up or some man bites dog story that's always good for a few chuckles.
There will be NO peace in the ME until Israel is made to own up to and pay for its numerous war crimes and crimes against humanity it commits on a daily basis against the indigenous Palestinians.

According to the late Yitzhak Rabin, the first Israeli Prime Minister made clear early on in the establishment of the State of Israel his wish to expel the Palestinian population to make way for the Zionist State. Rabin relates that: “We walked outside, Ben-Gurion accompanying us. Allon repeated his question, ‘What is to be done with the Palestinian population?’ Ben-Gurion waved his hand in a gesture which said ‘Drive them out!’”[31] Israel’s first Minister of Education Professor Ben-Zion Dinur echoed Ben-Gurion’s sentiments when he declared in 1954: “In our country there is room only for the Jews. We shall say to the Arabs: Get out! If they don’t agree, if they resist, we shall drive them out by force.”[32]
During May 1948, Zionists began contemplating ways of consolidating and making permanent the Palestinian exile. Professor Benny Morris notes that “the destruction of villages was immediately perceived as a primary means of achieving this aim.” Indeed, Zionist forces carried out massacres of the indigenous population even earlier than May:
“On 10 April, Haganah units took Abu Shusha… The village was destroyed that night…Khulda was leveled by Jewish bulldozers on April 20…Abu Zureiq was completely demolished…By mid- 1949, the majority of the [350 depopulated Arab villages] were either completely or partly in ruins and uninhabitable.”[38]
