Pelosi was correct: C.I.A. lied

The third time is the charm. I posted this information 15 May, 2009 and 7 July, 2009 . Pelosi has been vindicated in her assertion that the C.I.A. lied. I don't know why it is such a stretch for some to believe the C.I.A. lies. Duplicity is their mission.

Yeah and remember Cheney kept sending them out of the securities meetings until they came back with the right lies.

The lame link on this lame diary also leads to...

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/15/us/politics/15cong.html

"The House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, acknowledged for the first time Thursday that she knew by early 2003 that the Central Intelligence Agency had subjected terror detainees to waterboarding but saw little recourse to challenge the practice except by achieving Democratic control of Congress and the White House."

Pelosi knew about waterboarding, and did nothing.

Nobody owes that bitch an apology.

Reading the New York Times article to its conclusion still points out that the C.I.A. was being less than truthful with members of Congress.

Again Pelosi wasn't the only member of Congress confirming that the C.I.A. left out essential information in those briefings.

Come to San Francisco and call her a "bitch" to her face. And then we will know the bitch for sure.

"...she knew by early 2003 that the Central Intelligence Agency had subjected terror detainees to waterboarding..."

The rest of the story is trivial.

The bitch knew, and did nothing.

It is very easy to sit behind the keyboard and computer screen and call someone a name. It is quite another to say it directly to someone's face.

Say it to her face and find out if it is true or not.

user-pic

"Say it to her face, say it to her face..."

Were you actually drooling when you typed not one but two comments with the same message?

"Speaker Pelosi, a pseudonym on TPMCafe wants to set up a meeting where somebody calls you a bitch "to your face," and he keeps repeating "to your face, to your face..." What shall we do?"

Pelosi replies "Put that "to your face" idiot back on the short bus, and tell his mommy not to let him out again!"

You seem to be a very bitter little boy. Does your mother resemble Nancy Pelosi by any chance, and did she abuse you on a daily basis?

user-pic

I see you won't say it to her face.

You are letting your mouth right checks your ass can't cash.

user-pic

That should be, you are letting your mouth write checks your ass can't possibly cash.

Hmmmm . . .

I smell sulphur . . .

I think I remember John Boehner standing at the dais demanding Pelosi apologize. Although I think she won't do it, she should make him eat each letter of all his disingenous words; including punctuations.

Oh that is for sure forty-niner. For sure.

He always looks like a younger man with a terrible terrible hangover. And I shant forget that attack on Pelosi--you knowing of course that Grandma Pelosi is a real hero of mine. Very sensitive on that subject.

But how much time has MSM given to this one attack on Pelosi after it was discovered that lies were told--not that any interested citizen would have not already realized that there were scores of lies every week emanating from our secret police this entire decade.

Now I am ranting.

HOIWEVER... saying the CIA lied is like saying "The Government Lied", and neither is a singular entity.

It might be fruitful if the chain of command, no matter how far up it starts, that took part in any CIA lie (or "government" lie for that matter), was identified and exposed in some way.

But it might be more accurate to say "CIA officials lied" because, like all our agencies, it only takes a small circle of co-conspirators to dirty up the whole basket of laundry.

Considering their daily-coercion visits from Cheney, one might safely deduce where the ultimate guilt "lies."

user-pic

Yes. It's ironic that the perpetrator, Cheney / Bush, had previously gotten a monumental pass from Pelosi. Reminds me of a snake. It is the nature of the snake to bite, no matter what.

user-pic

Lying to your funding source is very, very stupid. Can't say I feel more secure about the CIA's judgment.
