It's Obama's fault

The pipes in my kitchen are busted. My bills are due. Chicago's bid to host the 2016 Olympic games failed. Someone fired off a few rounds outside my window. The train isn't on time. It is starting to getting cooler. When it warms up for a couple weeks---high fire danger--it will all be Obama's fault. He is damned if he does and damn if  he doesn't.

The list of Republican complaints against President Obama is, by now, fairly long. He's leading the country into socialism. He's doing too many things at once. He's not bipartisan enough. He's an enemy of humanity. And, of course, he bailed out Wall Street and the auto manufacturers late last year.

Well, as Larry Craig once put it:

The fault lies in our stalls.

But of course, he didn't bail out Wall Street or Auto manufacturers (ok, if Cash for Cluckers was a bailout, then you are right).

*snort!* um "Clunkers"

(though "Cluckers" is a lot funnier)

The collective corruption of Bush and the republican congress made this mess. Obama is no more responsible for this than the man in the moon. That he is having a hell of a time undoing the mess is very apparent. At every turn the republican opposition has erected barriers to disrupt devising and implementing effective solutions to the disaster inherited by this administration. Republicans, out of necessity, need for Obama to fail so on a comparative basis he looks no better, and if possible worse, than his predecessor. All the false claims and obstructionism are following that theme. It's the only one republicans have and precisely follows their mindset of corruptive power that precipitated our national disgrace and collapse
