When the budget axe falls where does it cut? It falls heavily on those who can least afford it and cuts close to the bone. If there is any doubt that this is true. please listen to the testimony of people about to lose their benefits in California.

Here in NY, dental programs for poor kids are being eliminated, while Mayor For Life wannabee Bloomberg brags about how wealthy he is (currently, 20 billion).
California is in much worse shape though, and I wonder how much the Enron rape of the state is still playing a factor:
