The Huffington Post via The Daily Beast reports that the Anthony Woods story is officially interesting. I posted this story 23 hours before it made to TDB and Huffington Post. Who gets to decide what and when something is newsworthy?

Another poster here made the comment about there not being enough stories of local politics....and yet when they are posted, they are mostly ignored. (Although that does not necessarily mean they are not read.) From now on, I'm going to make a point of rec'd the local political posts I do read. I try to read all new posts. :o) Some days I'm better at it than others.

A suggestion: Put an interesting quote or two from the site you link to so that readers get an idea of what you're talking about.
There are tons of links given here every day. I don't follow all of them, and a NEVER follow them if there isn't an indication of where they're going. Just stating Anthony Woods' name is not enough. If you want someone to read a link you've found, do a block quote of a significant part of the article.
I personally think as well, that if you bring a link here, you should also make a statement of what you think about it. After all, the Google makes theoretically objective links; if you bring something here, why not say what you think about it?

CVille thanks for the tips but as you suggested, I did put a few (okay very few) of my thoughts in the original post. I gave the reader the lay of land (geography) with the facts. I actually saw (on television) Tauscher say goodbye to her constituents.
