Olbermann: "Rich Lowry Masterbating During Debate"
I almost fell off my chair laughing...
Here's Lowry's post (Keith quotes it in its entirety...this is just to show it does exist!):

Here's Olbermann's take on it (It's on worst person, starts at 1:32):

It's got to be one of the funniest clips on Countdown ever!

Um, not to beat a dead horse, but it is "Masturbate."

Speaking of debates, fewer people watched the debate in MSNBC than the other cable channels, by far.

Too bad...it's my new favorite news channel...CNN has become Faux light w/ a few exceptions...but then again, I probably like msnbc because I love hearing McCain/Palin getting bashed. It makes me happy.

CNN did a similar montage of Palin's "fauxy" moments. They also made fun of Lowry and said he found the debate "stimulating" and showed a picture of him with hearts around his head.

Yeah, wasn't that great? Anderson Cooper was brutal. Lowry is now officially a laughingstock.

Hey, did you notice TPM was mentioned once on Olbermann and then on Rachel's show last night--I was very excited for all of you contributors. Almost made my panties wet. (or maybe I shouldn't be sharing that...)

Stop it. First Sarah, now you.

I didn't notice. I'd have to watch those shows to notice and I prefer a somewhat less hysterical approach to "news."

After years of getting sucked in by Faux News, I find MSNBC to be refreshing...a little hysteria is fun! And as grave as our country's situation is, a little fun is in order.

Absolutely. When I become so frustrated with the unjustice of this campaign season I turn on Olbermann and I laugh out loud. Nice antidote.

I noticed it.

Thanks, Blow...I've noticed that myself! :-) I was hoping no one else would notice! Leave it to you to catch it! Hee, Hee!

Now we see that as a columnist Mr. Lowry may well be a literal, as well as figurative, wanker.

Common slip when one is thinking about being master of your own domain (Seinfeld moment). ha!
October 4, 2008 3:08 PM | Reply | Permalink
Actually, a nice deliberate mispelling if it calls to mind Masters of the Universe, i.e. is he a Master Baiter?

I think that Keith has completely misunderstood what Rich Lowry's review of Sarah Palin has revealed about Rich Lowry.
No straight guy would have written that description of how he was reacting to Sarah Palin's performance.
I predict that Sarah Palin will follow the same career path as Tammy Fay Baker, and end up as a gay icon. Rich Lowry is an early harbinger of the future Sarah, as a gay icon.

Wait a minute, Tammy Fay became a gay icon?!

Yes indeed, and before she died she thanked the gay community for befriending her when she was an outcast.

You might learn how to spell "Masturbating".
And yes, it was a classic.

When you're really good at it, the spelling changes.

Thanks for the out, DF, but unfortunately, it's just poor spelling...spell check didn't catch it, or else spell check doesn't work in the title box...besides, who cares if you can spell it as long as...oh never mind! You guys are a bad influence on me!

The fact that you didn't already know that word backwards and forwards just proves that you haven't spent enough time alone!
Of course, Joe Biden would have been too much a gentleman to correct you.

Lowry's piece was excruciating. I can't believe someone didn't convince him not to post it. Maybe everyone he works with hates him. At any rate, it offers a view into the mind of the kind of clueless nitwit who helped put George W. Bush in the White House for two terms. I'm guessing Lowry liked Bush because he's a smart dresser, or something equally moronic.
I think it should be abundantly clear by now that the Republican base is simply not qualified to vote in national elections.

"Lowry's piece was excruciating"
1. Moreso right after the debate.
2. But Olbermann's reading of it was HOT!!!!!!
I just LOVE the many ways one can translate 'piece' into something filthy!

Classic.

One can't say it enough, people: alert all of your conservative friends, relatives and associates, as well as every fence sitter that you know of about the cover story in the new edition of Rolling Stone magazine.
It is available free online.
If you think that you could think no worse regards John McCain, think again. It will blow your socks off.

That punk Lowry better lay off. She was winking at me. That little weasel tries to horn in on my action and I'll kick his ass. Sarah's gonna need a real man after she loses the election and Todd, Brad Hansen, and Lowry better face facts and step aside. They're not man enough. That little love moose is mine.
