Man At Palin Rally Displays Monkey Doll Donning Obama Sticker
From CBS News' Scott Conroy:
(PHILADELPHIA) As the crowd cheered at a Sarah Palin rally this morning in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a man in the audience grinned as he held up a stuffed monkey doll with a Barack Obama bumper sticker wrapped across its forehead.
The incident came at a time when McCain and Palin’s events have increasingly been fueled by angry crowds, since Palin began drawing a connection between Barack Obama and 1960s radical William Ayers, claiming that the Democratic nominee has a history of “palling around” with a terrorist.
At a rally in Lakeville, Minnesota, on Friday, McCain was booed after he called on his audience to be respectful of Obama. The Republican nominee took the microphone away from one woman who said she couldn’t trust Obama because “he’s an Arab.”
After Palin finished her remarks this morning, the man holding the stuffed monkey seemed to notice that a video camera was pointed at him, at which point he removed the Obama sticker from the doll’s head and crumpling it up in his hand. He then handed the doll to a young boy who was watching the rally from his father’s shoulders. The boy’s parents later told CBS News that they weren’t acquainted with the man who gave their son the stuffed monkey.

My observation, This political season reminds me of the Perot campaign when hard-right-wingers infiltrated the MD party resulting in litigation, or when that video of a woman who just lost it who was a Hillary supporter, www.youtube.com/watch?v=KACQuZVAE3s or the demagouge Andy Harris in the MD congressional first who played the immigration card against Gilchrest, (this was a really nasty tactic.)
The point here is that when the moderate middle creates a vaccum these types surface.
The guy is creepy as he is the type who looks harmless but is probably a closet fascist.
But again, these "true belivers" and "demagouges" especially in hard economic times are dangerous.

I'm still completely fascinated by this behavior in people; you can see that they know what they are doing is in some way wrong, improper, or ill advised.
So where is their conviction actually? Are they embarrassed that they know they shouldn't be doing it; or are they concerned that they're going to catch hell for being a deviant; or are they being tactical (the jig's up, time to head to safer ground, live to see another day).
It's the same as George Bush and The Rapture; how much of his policy is driven by it really? 0% 15% 65% - and then hope for lucky break, or 100% and their real life is just going through the motions.

Here's more video that wasn't included on the site in the launch post, courtesy of a comment posted to the CBS blog. As he's heading into the rally, the racist asshole refers to his monkey doll as "Little Hussein."

The worst part is he pulled a PALIN by hiding behind the child. He gave the monkey to the child in the video becuase he knew he was being exposed as a bigoted hatemonger. He pretended it was the childs. Palin brought Piper and the preggers teenager to the Flyers game to protect her from a more robust boooing than she would have received otherwise.
These people are sick to use their children like this.

Aw man, and it's a Curious George doll too. I loved Curious George, one of my son's favorites. These people are just obscene.
