IT IS NOW BECOMING CLEARER, WHY THE IMMIGRATION BILL, WAS SO IMPORTANT TO PASS. FAILURE EXACERBATED THE HOUSING CRISIS
In Arizona, we tightened up on illegal immigration and the hiring of them.
God bless them, we know the difficulties they have in their own Country, they came here to Arizona and they bought homes, and worked, although undercutting wages.
Arizona passed some strict laws to go after the practice of hiring undocumented workers. The immigrants have fled, some back to their country of origin. Imagine though if you’re from Guatemala, you headed North and to the East.
We now have a lot of vacancies because of this flight; the supply of homes is overwhelming. Now with credit drying up, the homes are sitting on the market.
So I agree, there was definitely redistribution in Arizona, they hired cheap immigrant labor, and pocketed the rest.
Now WE have the legal working class, are in no position this time, to ride out this cyclical downturn.
Then people should understand there is no money out here in Arizona or California. It was sent back home to Mexico.
It’s not just redistribution it’s equalization between the lower and the middle class.

Yes, I think a lot of money was sent to Mexico, and this cheap labor undercuts american workers, who have to work for lower wages to compete. The American economy grows from the bottom up, people with decent wages buy homes, cars, education, and health care, thus growing a stronger, more stable economy.
