For Palin it is easy...
...to seem upbeat and convincing when you are making things up. Some of the best whoppers were:
1. McCain thinking the bailout bill should include relief for houses in foreclosure.
2. The natural gas pipeline that is not yet approved (let alone built) as a sign of her energy independence.
3. That Obama/Biden had a government run health care plan (it is ok, but not nearly that good).
4. That the surge would work in Afghanistan. Neither she nor McCain have the guts to call for 140,000 US troops in Afghanistan.
5. and the list goes on.

She seemed to have no understanding that she was of necessity calling for a draft- how else are they going to find the bodies for the force to"surge" in Afganistan?
She had no understanding that it is a contradiction in terms to simultaneously call for getting Gov't and taxes off our backs,AND to call for elimination of corruption and greed in Gov't and in Wall st. What is she planning to do? Clap her hands and wish really hard? This is a truly STUPID woman.
