Corruptio Optimi Pessima - The Neo-Conning of John McCain. (2nd attempt)
I don't think this got posted so One more time.
Corruptio Optimi Pessima
"Corruption of the Best Is The Worst"
John McCain is abusing the trust of the American people he had earned as the Maverick he claims to be. A straight talker no more, he has turned his back on the things that actually won him the Republican Nomination.
He is willing to do whatever is necessary to win this election regardless of the consequences, to him or to ANY OTHER PERSON THAT MIGHT GET IN HIS WAY.
He has, according to all independent observers, LIED, saying things like:
1. Obama wants sex education for little children
2. Obama will raise taxes on the middle class
3. Canceling Letterman, to "Rush back to Washington"
4. Obama a traitor
5. I have never lied I am 100% truthful
6. AND ON
7. AND ON
8. AND ON
I believe that McCain has actually become delusional because He appears to actually believe the lies he and his campaign are telling.
He has taken his experience as a P.O.W. and used it, over and over as "cover" in defense of his actions and the tactics of his campaign.
While McCain proclaims his support for the men and women serving this country he has voted more often that not, against veterans benefits, and against their families by voting against "equal dwell time" for soldiers asked to do multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He voted against the new GI bill written by Jim Webb.
He has voted against the "fundamentals of the economy" at least 19 times by opposing ANY increase in the minimum wage.
And does ANYONE believe that he won't start a culture war in the very near future, if the polls don't change?
Put simply, John McCain has turned into, the very thing he once railed against, A NEO-CON. Along the way he has corrupted all those Americans who trusted him when he really was the Straight Talk Express.

A few explanations for McCain's behavior...
He may be too inept to use a personal computer or the internet but he probably knows how to turn the television on and probably caught this nugget of wisdom from "Seinfeld"

I have been thinking lately that the weird thing he does with his arms when he's excited- sort of extending them half-way out and spinning them- may be proof that the real John McCain is still in VietNam and this is some kind of simulacrum or advanced robot whose default setting is .
But the simplest is always the best...he is Just. Fcuking Crazy.
And desperate to be President.

What do people define as "middle class"? I make roughly $250,000 a year but in NYC. So it doesn't go very far given the price of real estate, etc.
Obama will raise my taxes and give it to people who don't currently pay taxes. I'd be more in favor of Obama's tax plan if I felt like it was actually going somewhere useful. But just giving low income individuals a "gift" will not incentivize them to find higher paying jobs, get better education, etc.
If you ask me, he's just trying to redistribute wealth which may be good for the lower income folks in the short term but in the long run it will make the country worse off
