APPARENT WITHDRAWL FROM BATTLE STATES, AND THE TROJAN HORSE

Be careful, it may be a diversion, to lull complacency. Much like the Battle of the Bulge.

And the plan would be.......what, exactly? To win Oklahoma by 50%??

For some reason, everytime I try to have the body of the text on the Posting, it is not there.

Below is the rest of my comment

Be careful, it may be a diversion, to lull complacency. Much like the Battle of the Bulge.
To the Republican strategist, lull the enemy into thinking you've withdrawn, only to outflank on Election Day because the Dem troops thought the battle over.
So while partying over the perceived victory, the underground movement by the Republican Hessians, to mobilize the underground for the November surprise.
Trojan Horse?

Mobilize - without it being detected by the news media or his opponent?

avatar

absolutely, do you think all movement by the enemy is telegraphed to the opponent?

worst. post. ever.

So Obama and all his supporters and workers in Michigan would not notice that McCain is still running commercials there, if he were, which he won't if he pulls out like he claims? So, if commercials run then he hasn't completely pulled out, right? So possibly they would use their thinking heads and brains and deduce that maybe they should investigate and choose a course of action accordingly. Just possibly though, not certainly. So. I will broadcast this scenario to all my peeps in my hometown of Ypsilanti, and if they can take time away from their non-jobs at Ford to spread the word we might just have been in time to divert this potential disaster. All thanks to this post.

Or. Or! It could be that McCain is losing in Michigan by a huge margin. Possibly huger than many polls indicate and also a gap that has just grown bigger over time. Even after the debates. Meanwhile, as EVERYONE knows, Obama has brought many so-called pink and red states into play forcing McCain to spread his money thinner than he'd like. Thinner perhaps than public matching funds can spread? Maybe. Logic would dictate to cut bait and focus on fights you can win. But nonetheless, I've fired off an email to my boys in Y-town to put them on alert and they're on it...

The sky isn't falling. The sky is rarely falling. Pointing up while looking down, and then screaming The Sky Is Falling is lame.

Sorry for the harsh reply.

Wood your sorry is so shallow and pathetic.

The moment you wrote that line "Sorry for the harsh reply” Would have been the time you should/would have considered being considerate.

That being said, YOU evidently are either blind to the ways of diversion, or your a part of it.

The point I made was "Be careful, it may be a diversion, to lull complacency."

Wood would you like me to define Complacency for you?

Until the last vote is counted, there is no decided winner

A scenario for you
1) The Republicans have seen the trend that fewer people are joining the ranks. But the ones who are part of the ranks are not going to sit at home election night.

Imagine a COMPLACENT Democratic or Independent voter decides, and thinks to himself, I' m tired and I've heard McCain gave up in my State anyway , so maybe his side is so demoralized, they won't show up. WRONG

They're showing up all right. But because of COMPLACENCY, THEY RATIONALIZE I don't have to Vote

YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT From my perspective YOU ARE A SORRY ****

I'll let the mob decide this one. My apology was meant to be sorry & pathetic. The level of discourse was established by your previous posts which offered not much in the way of persuasion and failed to consider logic.

As an aside, what do hessians have to do with a trojan horse and what do either have to do with Republicans in Michigan?

Again, the sky is sunny and blue in Michigan, not falling. Hand wringing over the perceived intricacy of the Rovian tactics is a kind of an negative-pollyannaism that helps nobody.

That's why my response was less than kind. I, and many others I think, are tired of hearing the hand wringing and worry-warting every time the GOP farts. The McCain camp pulls a move that is bad for them on every level, and it follows logically from all the data available that they were forced into it, and instead of being happy about it, it's seen as some sweet move that'll win them the state and therefore we should all worry about it? Please.

I've no doubt that McCain and the Michigan Republicans would like to lull the dems into complacency. Why? Because it's all they got. But it's not a strategy. It's what they're left with. Complete and total desperation - essentially it is the last and only pathetic chance they have in Michigan when they quit campaigning there. By default, it's all they have, not a tactic they've chosen. I live in Arizona now and haven't heard the same sort of worries from the Republicans here. The fact that McCain is dominating here and Obama barely has a presence is seen as a good thing by them.

McCain conceded Michigan. It's GOOD news.
