I fat-fingered the Enter key on the Numpad. So, here's the content:
By all accounts, Democrats are making good on their drive to register more voters -- and in states where it counts.
Here's a great article today from MSNBC. Some numbers:
* 4 million new voters in only 12 states.
* In Florida, Democrats have double the new registrations of Republicans.
* In Colorado and Nevada, it's 4:1.
* In North Carolina, 6:1.
The biggest hurdle left is actually getting those folks to turn out on Nov. 4th. I'd like to encourage everyone to contact their local Dem/Obama headquarters and offer to provide rides -- even if only for an hour or two -- on election day. Also, check your state's registration dates and squeeze out the last few regs you can -- we've all got those friends who wait for the last minute, and the deadline has come and gone for a number of states already.

538 has this piece that gives a pretty optimistic look on the likelihood of newly registered voters turning out. It looks like they're actually doing it in Georgia, where early voting has already started.
Do what you can to make it a trend nationally!
