WOW!! You guys are so screwed!

avatar

After Palin's amazing debut last night that tingle running down Chris Mathews leg is coming from his bladder! She totally destroyed 'The One'. Here are a few priceless excerpts:

"Obama and Senator Biden have been going on lately about how they are
always, quote, "fighting for you," let us face the matter squarely.
There
is only one man in this election who has ever really fought for you ...
in places where winning means survival and defeat means death ... and
that man is John McCain."

and this:

"My fellow citizens, the American presidency is not supposed to be a
journey of "personal discovery." This world of threats and dangers is
not just a community, and it doesn't just need an organizer."

and finally:

"I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a "community organizer,"
except that you have actual responsibilities. I might add that in small
towns, we don't quite know what to make of a candidate who lavishes
praise on working people when they are listening, and then talks about
how bitterly they cling to their religion and guns when those people
aren't listening. We tend to prefer candidates who don't talk about us one way in Scranton and another way in San Francisco."

She completely changed the game last night. Any bets now on when Obama dumps Biden for Hillary?

Not one once of policy or position. Snide, dismissive and a tad to angry. While you may like keeping the culture wars alive I think we will see most or at least enough don't.

Next the media is already fact checking her speech and find it wanting for truth.

From the AP which of late has been no friend to Obama.

And Biden for Hillary, care to bet your investments on it?

Yeah, John McCain is the only one who served this country, but not the way you think. He served his country by being a profane hothead who crashed several planes before being taken prisoner, at which point he found that the best way to serve his country was to get good medical care from his captors by squealing like a stuck pig and giving them targeting locations which resulted in real American deaths. It's going to be interesting to see if some of that information starts to come out about our "heroic" John McCain. Let us never forget that patriotism IS the last refuge of scoundrals.

See, now that's the kind of made up garbage I expect from a liberal! Bravo. Ben is always intelligent, and doesn't stoop to this level, which makes me think he must not be a real liberal. You on the other hand are just what I expect, an idiot. Targeting locations? for whom ? He was a pilot from a carrier, the NVA never engaged a carrier battlegroup, their airforce was insignificant. So what info did he supposedly give up? You don't know, you are just repeating the lies of other insane liberals. And his great medical care left him permanently unable to raise his arms. Funny that his fellow POW's were there at the convention to support him. They must all be traitors, right. Moron.

This guy hardly qualifies as an "insane liberal."

Looks like Soros generated propaganda. Too many other POW's support him for this garbage to be true, and for too long of a time. Keep a secret like this for 40 years? Not likely.

From my reading it is because of a pact made by all of the POWs that they would never talk to outsiders about what they did or didn't do while they were in prison because no one who didn't go through the experience had a right to judge anybody who did, which makes sense to me. Kind of like the "band of brothers" version of "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas."

Yet you are willing to judge McCain. Interesting.

Yes, I am willing to judge McCain. That's what voters do before an election. They make a judgment about the leadership qualities of the person running for office, something that person does VOLUNTARILY.

I don't think this guy is an insane liberal, by any stretch of the imagination... even yours.

And just recently I was defending you saying that you don't post anything you don't actually believe, unless, of course, you're making a joke.

Do you really believe this, or is this a joke?

Well, I really believe she made a great speech that unified the party base. I think she slammed her critics and nailed Obama on a number of points. Obama's speech was quite mean to McCain on a personal level not on policy, I think she paid him back in full.

TCB: Obama's speech was quite mean to McCain on a personal level not on policy.

I can't imagine where you got this impression. Care to back up this astounding claim with some quotes that you found mean?

Was it this: "John McCain has worn the uniform of our country with bravery and distinction"?

Or this: "I don't believe that Senator McCain doesn't care what's going on in the lives of Americans"?

Or this: "I love this country, and so do you, and so does John McCain."

If not one of these, what do you find in the Obama speech that was mean "on a personal level?"

Let's see, she was for the "Bridge to Somewhere" before she was against the "Bridge to Nowhere" -- in other words you prefer candidates who talk about you one way in Ketchican and another way in St. Paul.
