"Wisdom" of the Obamabots
I keep a little scrapbook of brilliant ideas that Obamabots have contributed to American politics over the past year. How would we know that Hillary Clinton was plotting the assassination of Barack Obama, if those geniuses hadn't told us?
The latest entry was contributed by a monstrously prolific Obamabot who posts on TPMCafe under the pseudonym "Ripper McCord."
Ripper McCord's genius idea, which he calls a "magic arrow" to win the election, is that Obama should paint McCain as a liar every chance he gets, with the clever proviso that instead of saying "McCain is a liar," Obama should repeat a magic phrase like "the McCain lie" over and over.
Harharharhar!!!
Since John McCain has only been a public figure for 40 years, the American public will obviously change its opinion about him based on some insults by a nobody from nowhere.
Obama?
Isn't he that preppie from Hawaii? Half a term in the Senate? Wife and pastor hate America?
Yeah, America totally wants to hear that guy insult a decorated veteran like John McCain!
But luckily for Democrats, Obama doesn't give a flying fuck about the "wisdom" of Obamabots like Ripper McCord.

Unsolicited advice is worth what one pays for it.
Obama, Axelrod et al need not strategic advice from Ripper or any other of the many strategists who have never run a campaign.

Hell, disagree with Obama's supporters if you do but Ripper's a cool poster and well meaning and there's no call for a personal attack like this. Ripper has disagreed with me many times but has never seen fit to resort to name-calling over it. So what's your problem?
And it's pretty funny that you're calling Obama a nobody when McCain chose Kato Kalin as his veep. Or wait, Kato Kalin is actually famous. It's that woman he picked for veep who is a nobody.

Hey Jacob,
I try not to get in the middle of arguments, but aren't you are out of line here, starting a post with the sole purpose of attacking another member of the community? Couldn't you have carried this on at the original Magic Arrow thread?

Obamabots are a very significant aspect of Obama's campaign for a lot of us whom they love to call "cockroaches," racists, and so on.

Obama's friends have made him a lot of enemies, and the political battlefield is as wide for any given person as the range of associations with it.
Obama quietly watched while the Clintons and anyone who supported them were pilloried as racists, and now his acquiescence comes back to bite him.
The world didn't end with the primaries, and Obama lost his last chance to make amends when he chose the pompous and unintelligent Joe Biden for VP.
