Why Minnesota? And hasn't he blown it, now?
I'm new to this, so I was just wondering what led to the selection of St Paul for the RNC conventaion site.
So did the RNC figure they wanted a shot at Minnesota?
And did the Pawlenty snub take care of any chance the Republicans still had to win Minnesota?

As a Minnesotan, I can tell you for sure that McCain is not going to win Minnesota. We may be stupid enough to vote for Tim Pawlenty, Norm Coleman and Jesse Ventura, but John McCain is where we draw the line. This was an incredibly pointless waste of time.

Not to mention making a mess of a perfectly serviceable - if rather quiet (to the point almost of being boring) Midwestern city with street closures, demonstrators, and noise.
I'm getting some good work out of it, though, so I'm not complaining...too much. It'll take a month to get the stench of Republicans out of the Xcel Center, though.
