When news bcomes entertainment
I keep waiting for Wolf to stand up to someone, anyone, on his program. If Sarah Palin said "no thanks" to the bridge to nowhere, where is the $223 million her state received? Oh they spent it? I guess she is not quite the fiscal conservative she says she is. I guess a fiscal conservative is a person who makes sure nobody else gets any assistance from the government.
I keep waiting for George S. on ABC to uncover something relevant to any story. But he continues to try to act like Tim Russert without doing the homework. George, I have seen Tim Russert. I listened to Tim Russert. You are no Tim Russert. You are one more puff filled teleprompter reading Milquetoast that acts like you are breaking news when you are mostly only breaking wind.
Now Charlie Gibson gets to interview the Queen of Smugness. You going to ask her about her flip flop on the bridge to nowhere? The Creamery scandal where all her friends from wasilla got rich on a government boondoggle? How about how well abstinance only education worked in her family? How about Trooper gate? How about her experience in foreign affairs?
Charlie, oh Charlie. Can you please take us to candy mountain? c'mon Charlie.
Can any of you ask the republicans how the security party became the change party. Our security was threatened because Obama didn't have enough experience but it isn't threatened by the possibility of Palin being president?
Can any of you lay Bush's 2000 acceptance speech side by side with McCain's and point out the eerie similarity between the two?
The absence of true leadership leaves a vaccuum that is being filled by pure theater. When that vaccuum occurs, the american people not keeping up on anything other than Fox News (this millenium's TASS news agency), network news, or CNN, gravitate to any buzzword that sounds good to them. Shame on journalists who make that so easy for them to do. I know that the pressure for ratings drives the news shows. But I would have hoped that you would have the pride to be a journalist and not just a teleprompter reader.
You all give journalism a bad name.

I do not believe "ratings" alone are the reason for such a dismal and disgraceful morphing to relating pure bullshit to America. Explore the very real possibility this is a concerted, orchestrated result of the media being controlled by owners and celebrity broadcasters that are members of the Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission and the Bilderburg Group. The network non-news that is broadcast these days fits perfectly with their neo-conic NWO agendas.
