What is a troll?

Just curious. I know a troll troll is a someone who comes in and throws out Repub talking points just to cause trouble. But what defines a concern troll? Is is showing a lack of faith in the campaign? or is there a specific pattern of activity -- maybe raising concerns just to raise them?

The term gets thrown about a lot -- just wondering what the popular definition was.

Pretended concern. Spreading FUD.

Well, a troll on lefty blogs would be a Hillary Clinton or President Clinton supporter. A troll on the righty blogs would be not a dittohead on the current posted topic in their echo chamber.

There ya go.

OTY, Matthew Weaver, gotalife, Dembillc, Clever Bulldog, and others, just to give some illustrative examples.

Lives under a bridge; a liminal and disfigured being who collects a toll for crossing a river. This Troll's toll has been interpreted by scholars as the determinate factor in the mythic binaries of handsome/ugly, enlightened/not so smart, wet/dry, to name but a few.

Trolls do not have health insurance. Liminality is a pre-existing condition. Quite grimm really.

For the most part, I think it means anyone you'd really like to punch.

Since you can't, cause you're socially unable to have a conversation with real people (for whatever reason,) you try to harm them through the only means available to you: you try to fuck with their reputation.

You scream "IMPOSTER! IMPOSTER" however you can in a desperate attempt to inflict some sort of compensatory damage through your virtual impotence.

If you find yourself wanting to call someone a concern troll, you should IMMEDIATELY leave your terminal and learn how to play a musical instrument.

When you're done with that, you should volunteer for some face-to-face campaign work for your favorite local insurgent candidate.

After that, you won't give a shit about the mental midget who got you so worked up in the first place.

Toot toot.... plang plang....

It's not workin', dude.

TRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL.....!
