File this under: You have got to be fucking kidding me.

FAIRBANKS — Gov. Sarah Palin is expected to attend a “welcome home”
rally in Fairbanks on Wednesday. Palin has been touring the country
with Sen. John McCain since he selected her on Aug. 29 as his
vice-presidential candidate.
Palin is also expected to attend a deployment ceremony on Thursday for
the Army’s 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division at Fort Wainwright, Lt.
Col. Jonathan Allen said. Gov. Palin’s oldest son, Track, is one of
about 4,000 soldiers scheduled to deploy as part of the Stryker brigade. The Alaska Republican Party is hosting the Wednesday rally, which is
open to the public, party spokesman McHugh Pierre said. Doors open at
4:30 p.m., with a program starting at 5:30 at Alaska Aerofuel at Sadler
Business Plaza, 5904 Old Airport Road. While the event is open, organizers are asking that people attend in support of Palin and McCain.
“If you don’t, we’re encouraging you not to come,” Pierre said. “We’re Alaskans first here.”
Today is the first time in my whole life that I was ashamed to an Alaskan.

I think Sarah Stalin is more appropriate given her fondness for purging disloyal staff.

Lightning just struck.
Since they are braggin up her "crowds" maybe Obama supporters should start their own "operation chaos" by attending, playing along... maybe even clapping...
Then vote against the bitch anyway.

Witty, what part of Alaska do you live in?
I'm in southeast. Wondering what you are hearing in part you are at. Lots of Obama people here.

Wasilla.
My husband and I are in the tank for Obama - have been for a long time.
I was sick for a week when I heard Palin got the nomination - literally queasy.
I didn't vote for her because I felt she would win by too big a margin - I didn't want to be one of the herd.
I have heard NOTHING coming from people in Wasilla - I haven't even seen a McCain campaign sign.
The AM talk radio guys in Anchorage, (which are totally right wing) are completely flabbergasted at the lying she is doing now - and although they won't say it explicitly - they are not saying nice things about her.
I'm from Fairbanks originally - and family there is totally pro-Palin.

A friend here got a e mail from one of your 'neighbors' there and he said so many people there know the truth about Palin and are just sick at the thought of her in the white house.
But, no one will speak out. Do you know Anne Kilkenney (sp.?) who wrote the email. She made newsweek and they are investigating all her points in the email.
Why aren't people speaking out there?
I just got an email from an older lady here who forwarded me a prayer chain from her friend in Arizona for McCain because Obama is a Muslim!!
I wrote back and am curious as to her answer.
But here, there are die hard repubs voting for Obama. No McCain signs there? Hmmm.
Who is the Mayor there now?

Diane Keller.
Just censured by the City Council for trying to intimidate local Parks Highway businesses (main commercial drag) into giving up portions of their property to allow Park's access to a developer - Meritage Development.
She was supported by Palin.

Small town Alaska politics can make national politics look like a walk in the park.
Our community has more registered voters than if you count all the kids, bears, dogs, cats and snowmen! But, it's mainly to 'control' local, not national, elections.
Just met with some people from midwest and they had received Anne's email. Told 'em she was being kind.
Lots of Obama signs going up here, are you putting one up there?

I'm going to his campaign office tomorrow to get something, when I called they said they were out.
At least a bumper sticker.

Well maybe they should take off their 'alaskan' hats and put on their 'american' hats and tell the woman she's a liar to her face and to knock it off!!! Seriously some of her 'best' friends that might not be voting for her (article in huffpost) could just call her out and tell her that she's embraced the values of political criminals and it's not going to end well for her!

Except not, because they showed up and were welcome to observe the proceedings and rally outside?

This woman claims that she is a born-again christian, yet because of power, greed and her selfish ambition she has chosen to cast aside the virtues of being a christian. She is a mean spirited and vicious liar. She has also chosen to compare herself to a dog in lipstick, and now the McCain-Bush campaign is trying to turn the tables on Obama that he called her a pig in lipstick. What woman would refer to herself as a dog. You can see that she and McCain both have depraved minds. This woman seems to have no grace. She is all about me, myself and I.
The McCain campaign team in their Rovian tactics, are reprobates of the highest order, and in my view they have formed an alliance with the devil himself. I could never imagine that in my lifetime I would ever see evil of this magnitude manifested in the Republican party. This woman gives christianity a bad name, she has no love, and seems interested in fighting gutter politics only i.e. speech at the RNC convention. She is deceiving the American people, and she should cease and desist her lying now. She has lied about the bridge to nowhere program, the sale of the governors air-plane on e-bay, while all the time charging the cost airline tickets for family to taxpayers, spending taxpayers money to stay in her home, etc. She is dishonest, and her behavior does not fit the characteristics of a christian.

You all realize that this fucking dickhead just said that to be an Alaskan is to vote for McCain/Barbie, right? If not, you're not Alaskan, says he:

How are these lies playing with the god-fearing folk of Wasilla?
See my post (link below) and maybe you could show it to some from her church. I truly want to know where the bible tells you so.

U.S. Constitution guarantees your rights of freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and the right of redress for your grievances.
Get a copy of the Alaska state constitution. You'll find similar language.
Go to the deployment ceremony. Bring your Obama signs. Be respectful, but make your presence known.
Go to the Alaska Aerofuel event. It is billed as being "open to the public." You are the public. Go represent!
You're entitled to go to these events, you're entitled to protest. You can also go to the Governor's homes/offices in Juneau, Anchorage and Wasilla. Be respectful, but stage a sit-in if you like.
You don't have to hide.

Whew. This is outrageous! Guess we know which side of defending versus destroying the US Constitution Palin will be on. Did Alaska already secede from the Union and do away with First Amendment rights? Geesh. Just further proof that Palin is not the person we want a heart beat from the White House.

In the 2004 election, Cheney made people sign pledges before they could get a ticket.
I don't know if this is an overzealous supporter, but it could also be a strong suggestion because television cameras will undoubtedly.
If it were me, I'd probably go, but I wouldn't count on being disruptive and instead, I'd go for the spectacle. (Though, theoretically you could get your face in front of somebody's camera and say that all Alaskans don't feel the same)

They like the lies. They say outrageous shit to get free press.
They lie because it works to distract from the issues.
They would rather be called liars than losers.
Any means necessary.

Does this mean that there are no Alaskan Democrats? Or is this more of the secessionist diatribe? Or maybe Princess Palin only governs Republicans? Whatever. Stinks. Guess they can't handle a bit of freedom of speech or freedom of association.
