The Biggest News of the Week

I know it's hard to believe with economic Armaggedon slouching towards Jerusalem--but the biggest story of the week was actually buried in the WaPo.

Turns out we are pumping greenhouse gases into the atmosphere at a much greater rate than anticipated. At this rate the temperature will rise 11 degrees by the end of the century.

Of course, the Wild Weather will be upon us within a few years. I am guessing that after the first Cat 6 Tornado rolls across North America, the outliers will finally capitulate on Global Climate Change. Well, it's going to get real interesting. It is pretty doubtful that we will change our carbon producing ways in time to reverse anything. We are Terra Forming a new Venus.

There are lots of ominous stories out there being shoved aside.

For example, the South East literally has no gasoline in parts of it.

Instead Americans today are watching the government try to come up with a solution that would bring us back to "business as usual" -- but you can't do business as usual when you have bought and sold fraudulent "assets".

Old School folks would call this a "market correction" -- only problem is that the affected people are the old school folks.

And they only believe in free markets when they go up.

Oh I forgot to mention, in this context, a piece of positive news with respect to Global Warming. A new study that suggests that the Arctic Tundra may not be thawing and releasing methane gas as rapidly as they feared.
