The Best Part About McCain Getting Busted For His Lies
The reason it is so easy to see through both McCain and Sarah Palin's bullshit about earmark spending and how "she's against pork barrel spending" is Barack Obama actually authored the bill, with Republican Tom Coburn, that makes it so easy for anyone with a computer to find out.
"Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act," a bill that will
create a Google-like search engine and database to track approximately
$1 trillion in federal grants, contracts, earmarks and loans.
"By helping to lift the veil of secrecy in Washington, this
database will help make us better legislators, reporters better
journalists, and voters more active citizens," Obama said.

I seriously think the MSM needs to start talking about this.

But if the MSM isn't spoon-fed news (press releases) they don't seem to get it. Perhaps the Obama campaign people should start acting - sending their own pro-active releases, rather than just reacting. Just a thought

this definetly should be all over the media. but my opinion of the media has taken a major hit due to the way they've just spewed the McCain talking points and falling to cut through the noise and stick to facts. The gimmick that is his campaign has been disgusting and dishonorable. It seems his ambition to win at all costs means he's willing to toss away the reputation he has made for himself over so many years. It is actually hard to watch but the media are the refs here and should be calling them when they seem em.

Hey, there's only one real reason you're not panicking and that's that you're an optimist.
I'm panicking because I'm a pessimist over anything I can't control.
Conclusion? We'll both end up in the same place in November but you'll have had a far less painful time getting there. Power to your elbow.
