Sarah Palin Held Hostage?
Just saw on Rachel Maddow, and other sites, that McCain spokespeople are yakking on about her not cooperating with (the bipartisan instigated) "troopergate" investigation, and are essentially taking over her defense.
What the hell?! I'd think most Alaskans, on either side of the aisle would get pissy about these outsiders mucking around in their state business. Are we going to see any push back?

I am outraged. I'm an Alaskan and just read that our repub AG is refusing to enforce the subpoenas. I hope the article is wrong, because it isn't, trust me, the perverbial brown stuff is going to be hitting the fan!
I'm waiting for Alaska papers in the a.m. If this is indeed fact, many repubs will join the Dems in the march to fight this!

Let's hope your prediction is true. This needs to be front page of every paper, and top of every TeeVee news, in the country.
This is profoundly serious: if things get so bad that McShame drops Palin, and throws in the towel, the election would be won by the non-scandal-ridden by default.
Jesus, have our elections been f'd up since 2000!
