Palin's Attacks - Whimper Whimper
Sarah Palin's convention speech has been criticized by Senator Biden as nothing more than a divisive attack speech.
Senator, isn't that why we picked YOU for the ticket? Weren't YOU supposed to be the attack dog for Obama to take on the Republicans? Isn't that what a Vice President does during a Presidential campaign?
I (and plenty of others) were excited about the fact that we had you, a no-nonsense fighter, on the ticket. Now we're supposed to be upset that the other side's Vice President had the audicity (no pun intended) to play the role we expect YOU to play Senator?
Get in the damned ring and go after her, go after McCain, and go after the rest of the Rethugs! Stop whimpering and start fighting!

There's a video headline there that quotes Biden. The headline says "Palin's speech 'all about attack', Dems' Biden says".
Click on it. Watch the video. While Biden tries the platitudes of praising the speech, he started whimpering about it being "all about attack" and from the "Karl Rove" playbook, etc. etc.

You are a fuckin' liar. You are the one who describes Biden as "whimpering". He was doing no such thing. He was telling the truth. It is right from the Turdblossom playbook, and he is right to point it out.
Just because Biden acts in a grown up manner, and does not throw a tantrum, that does not give you the right the claim he was "whimpering". In fact that word fits your behavior, you whiny little jerk!

When Biden complains about the other side attacking, when his own expected role in the campaign was to be the aggressive attacker, I find that to be akin to whimpering. Call it whatever you want, the result is the same.
I did not lie. Not one word. I want my ticket to be aggressive. We've been rolling over for years and I'm sick of it. If I see even a moment of weakness I'll call them on it. That's not whining, that's setting expectations.

Biden is being aggressive, but in a smart way that does not leave him open to the claim that he is picking on Palin because she is a woman.

Not buying it. The sexism card backfired when Hillary tried it. It will backfire if Palin tries it, too, if we can maintain our aggression, resolve, and poise.
This soft attitude is what cost us in 2004. We can't afford to give an inch this time. Sorry if that comes across to you as whimpering but I don't see it that way. We'll just have to agree to disagree on that.
Perhaps at some point you'll recognize the honesty and sincerity of my position, realize we're on the same team, and apologize for calling me a "fuckin' liar". I won't hold my breath, however.

You are entitled to your own opinion, but not to your own set of facts.
Hillary did not complain about sexism until after Obama had establish a winning streak. From then on Hillary got more votes than him. She just played the card too late.
The Republicans are not making that mistake. They have already picked up on what helped Hillary win Ohio, PA, Texas, West Virginia, etc.
They are already blaming The Media and Sexism.
Biden and Obama know better than to provide them with more ammo.

"Pretending"...too funny. I've contributed more to Obama's campaign since the primaries. I get 3 e-mails a day from them asking for more money.
You are sadly mistaken on many levels. Criticism is not attacking. Berating the softness of our candidates and weakness of our representatives is not attacking. It is our responsibility as their constituents to question their tactics and demand better from them.
But hey, if you want to drink the kool-aid and "baa baa baa" along as they piddle away the election, that's your right. Just don't expect me to go along with it. Good luck.
