Palin Talks with the Press!
Unfortunately, it was Todd Palin answering questions, not his wife.
While she was off campaigning, Todd stuck around the Twin Cities for a couple of extra days so that he could attend the "Hay Days Grass Drags" just north of St. Paul.
You did know that Todd is a champion "snow machine" racer, right? Well, when Minnesotans can't wait for October's first snow, they do weird things like race snowmobiles over grass. I don't own a sled, but this is supposedly the biggest annual event of this type in the world.
Alaska's "First Dude" was there signing autographs at a table with three other racers sponsored by Arctic Cat. Dressed in a long-sleeve logo t-shirt, he really did look like he was having a good time with his fans.
The McCain campaign minder that was dressed in a suit and tie...he didn't look like he was having very much fun at all.

Good catch and I'd love to see that video, if and when it ever appears. If nothing else, it'd be interesting to hear if their Skoal in his voice.
Oh, and like your link, mine doesn't have a video either and I've been waiting for a couple of days, but here's the Alaska reporter's story about the couple of questions, she got to ask the Republican VP nominee that was heavily truncated in this morning's Times and the source of some internet derision.

Sarah herself has just given an interview to the Wall Street Journal.
Admittedly, the interview focused rather tightly on an area of personal expertise.
