Members of Congress, Federal Judges, State Legislators Targeted for War Crimes
Some have asked for some simple language to explain what is going on. The short version: Members of Congress, American judges, and State-level officials including legislators are being examined for war crimes.
Said another way: The American government is under international scrutiny. This means if the Americans refuse to respect the requirement to investigate, foreign powers might lawfully conclude only combat operations against America will enforce the laws of war.
Is that clear enough for you, or do you want crayon pictures?
