McCain and the Media: They Can't Have It Both Ways
So, Chris Matthews, James Carville and other pundits refuse to believe their lying eyes when they see the loathsome, racist personal attacks coming out of the McCain campaign. The exculpate McCain of any complicity in the ads - insisting he cannot know they are happening. Fine! Let's go there.
If John McCain is so incompetent he doesn't even have control over his campaign's message and advertising, he is too incompetent to be in the Senate, let alone in the White House.
So, go ahead and say he's too good a guy to do that. Pretend that McCain would not do or say anything to get power. Make all those justifications because you can't have it both ways. If he's innocent of those ads, he's an incompetent manager who has no business in the presidency. If he's aware of those ads, he's vile, racist and corrupt and should not be withing 30 miles of the White House. Either way, those ads disqualify him from the White House.

See the video on Election Central of all the talking heads saying McCain is to honest, decent and upright a man to okay the racist ads running against Obama. They say if he knew what his campaign staff were doing and saying, he would stop it.
Well, if he cannot keep a campaign running on his message with his values, how can he expect to run an Administration?
Of course, he knows exactly what his staff is doing and of course he's okay with it - which just shows he has the ethics of a jackal.

Must be this one?
I haven't yet seen all the ads McCain is running, but what few I've seen haven't been racist. Can you tell me which ones you are referring to? Thanks.

What I do know is that if Hillary were running that sex education ad against Obama, the media would say she was definitely behind it, possibly even writing it herself. I swear some pundits said or suggested she wrote the 3 a.m. ad.
