League of Democracies thinking by McCain is the Neocons reborn
Having searched the site I cannot understand the lack of comments about the League of Democracies comments by McCain
We used to have a section on the Café called American Abroad, the Neocons in the Democrat’s Party clothing.
When McCain again razed this concept there has been little explanation on what this is about and how it is a commitment
To continue George Bushes Wars.
Where are the past blogers that posted through this period that can discuss this much better than I?
Be warned these comments are code to indicate the Neocons are in control of McCain!
Search TPMCafe for Concert of Democracies and League of Democracies and read the comments.
Goodle this also for a larger view.
Here are some links to get started.

I'm sure members have noted the posts by Ivo Daalder, James Lindsey, and Rachel Kleinfeld regarding the "Concert of Democracies", a proposal based on the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs supported Princeton Project on National Security study, "Forging a World of Liberty Under Law" .

McCain's International Institution Problem

Thanks for this, Thinking. When McCain made his comment, I thought he had just mixed up Concert of Democracies and League of Same. So it was interesting to note Clemon's write up on the origins of the League.
If I remember correctly, most of the members here at the time did not take to the Concert idea (to say the least).
I'm not sure the neocons are reborn as I don't recall them ever being good and dead. Only in my dreams.

Thanks Seashell
I remembered the discussion and still think it is funny as not much mention of this here or elsewhere.
I interpreted the reference as a continuation of Bush War. I also think it was an apeal for the Jewish voters in Florida.
Who really knows, but I hope I never find out.
The multi-posts was a problem with cutting and pasting from word. I pasted to note pad and cut to blog and it worked. We need the preview.
It was a flash again of what we lost when I read the comments in the old TPMCafe posts.
