In my conversations with common folk around where I live, something most bloggers, politicians, sociologists, et al do not do, I have found a similar sentiment - that politicians are taking care of their buddies in the Great American Bailout!  and... That the root cause of this financial debacle is simply that no cops patrolled the deadly streets of high commerce. No Cops, High Crime.  We all know that. Where are the Cops?

So what is to be done? 

First, get some cops on the street.  Not the SEC mealy-mouthed weaklings, but real cops! In the absence of real cops take one airport security twit who twiddles his thumbs at every laptop and attach him/her at the hip with each one of these corporate swindlers.  How can you tell which is a swindler from another? Answer: they are ALL swindlers.

Then, you can either Kill the Bastards, so that they no longer blight our society, a tack Americans are good at compared to the rest of the world, or you can penalize them by not only taking away their ill-gotten perks, but fining them and sending them to jail.  What a unique concept!

So, this bail out had better have some strong penalties on the bastards whose corruption shit on the liviing room floor of our nation, or you will have rioting in the streets.  You will have a huge per cent of American declaring bankruptcy -- (if it is good enough for Lehman, why not me?)  You will have walk aways in the millions (are we already there?) and every politician who votes for this bailout without heavy duty penalties, even "seeded politicians like Congressman George Miller: will hurt for decades to come.

What are the minimum penalties for these corrupt scum of American Finance? 

First, zero out all golden parachutes, bonuses, stock options for every employee of every bail out company or any company who sells their scum infested fraudulent paper to the government.

Second, any employee who earns One million or more, cap his total earnings to 10 percent of his previous earnings.  For 500K+ make it 80%, for 250K+ make it 70%. 

Actually I vote for Kill the Bastards. Legally of course.
