It's Not McCain's Job to Clean Up D.C. - It's the VOTER'S Job!
I'm pretty stunned at McCain's 'daddy will take care of you' line of late, that he'll clean up Washington for the American People. This is pretty weird coming from an Arizona Senator who disingenuously co-opted Goldwater's rugged individualist streak.
Well, it's not his job to clean up Washington - it's a job ONLY the American People can do - by voting the bastards out!

Hey there witty,
Good post. So true. Anything new in Wasilla?
I want to start petition about AG and the subpoenas and Palin's refusal to cooperate. If I post will you copy and ciruclate it there?
Rec'd.

Aunt Sam -
I will hunt down and sign any petition to recall her.
I saw some Secret Service in traffic, (how degrading to be driving around a pregnant teen). Also saw some camera people shooting the Mug Shot Saloon.
To be perfectly honest, even though I've lived in Wasilla for 8 years I hardly know a soul here. I'm originally from Anchorage and maintain all my friendships there.
Mums pretty much the word in Wasilla right now, people have been making obvious pains to stay off the Palin/McCain topic - no one is quite sure what anyone else thinks considering her vindictive nature.
I've already planned to take both my boys with me on November 4th to show them how it's done. I also heard a radio caller say she has always voted Republican but won't be voting for a single Republican this year because of the cover-up and interference perpetuated by the McCain campaign over Monegan's firing. Amen.
You should check out Dan Fagan's show online on KFQD, it streams live in the afternoon. The same for Andrew Halcro's show on KENI - both stream live in the afternoon and have been very interesting lately.

good post witty1. I live in IL. and most people think of Wasilla as half Twin Peaks, and half Northern Exposure. I bet it is the Twilight Zone at the moment.
