"I can see Russia from my house"
Tina Fey freaking hilarious on SNL. I wasn't so keen on the Hillary half, but gotta say that was hilarious too.
I think the Chicken Little stuff is dying down. Barbie in camoflage is not going to win this election. Today's economic stuff--that wins elections. It's like shooting fish in a barrel (don't know why anyone would want to do that, but I don't know why anyone would want to put lipstick on a pig either). Here's the ad:
Alan Greenspan on Sept 14: This is the Worst economy I've ever seen.
McCain on Sept 15: The fundamentals of the economy are sound.
Obama: Senator, what economy are you talking about???
Slap an "approve this message" sticker on it and send it out. Take the rest of the week off.
Really, the most difficult thing for the Obama campaign to decide is what lines of attack to take up. They all look so good:
1. It's the economy, stupid, and McCain doesn't get it.
2. McCain=Bush.
3. McCain's a liar, and so's his little dog.
4. McCain=lobbyists.
Decisions, decisions. I like 1 and 2. They've been hitting 3 and 4, but I think it's time to get back on message.

Yeah, Tina Fey -- I actually thought Palin had been a surprise guest on the show -- that's how much Fey managed to look like her.
And oh so fey! "I don't know anything about [the Bush Doctirne]!"
The Wall St. meltdown is a stunner. I don't know what the implications of it are, so that adds to my anxiety. Probably the same for most voters, so that will dominate the news and peoples thoughts. It's a major opportunity for Obama.
Much as I've loved Monty Python, buh-bye, Palin.
