Hey, Schmidt, Rove, Hannity and the rest of you Republican crybabies...
Stop blaming the blogs for what us bloggers post.
We are exercising our right to free speech. If you think it is so libelous, then sue someone, but until then, stop whining about the media and the blogs.
Your real problem is that most of what you call trash is really the truth, so you can't sue anyone without exposing that truth.
The repercussions of your vindictive campaign creed is turning on you all, and it is cosmically ironic to say the chickens are coming home to roost.
After what you and your fellow defamers have done to our precious democracy, it seems rather fitting to watch all of your chicken-feathers get ruffled-up in arrogant indignation when the truth turns against you, and the public gives back the same kind of despicable deception and hate mongering you have given us for so long.
Stop crying, it is bad enough you ridicule us as soft, it is even worse when you whimper like spoiled bullies every time the tables turn on you.
Get over it, and get on with the campaign, although it is very doubtful you can manage the two McCains, Joe's maverick that God made AND the angry machine you have created.
The corrupt, confused chimera that struggles between those sides must surely have been the one who picked Palin.

At least you admit its the same kind of despicable deception and hate mongering as the republicans use. I commend you for being honest about that.

Very true, a lot of it is despicable and hateful, but much of it is information the MSM and even the blogs can't say without some sort of veracifier.
But is is not orchestrated by any one individual or blog or journalist, it springs spontaneously from both reasonable and reactionary sources. Sometimes it is putrid, sometimes it is prescient, but it usually honest and not contrived as strategy or tactic that demeans the very idea of democracy.
Considering the daily Rovian talking points we get from the wingnut blogs, the Fox News types and the drive-time right wing radioheads, is there any doubt they take their cues form an outside source?
So while I do agree, some of this blogpiling has been over the top, a lot of it has been very accurate.
It is up to all of us to discern the difference. When it rings true, sometimes it rings loudly.
