Hahaahhahahaaha! Hahaaha, aahhhahaaahaaa! Aahhhaha, ha..
This is what they have? This is the speech they have spent a month on and the last 96 hours non-stop tailoring for Palin? This is how they plan to engage Americans?
This..is..it?
Health care? Foreclosures? Increasing economic inequality? Affordable education? Climate change? Science? Inflation? Stagflation? Veterans? Active-duty military? Oil dependency? Unsustainable consumption? Crumbling infrastructure? Technology gap? Class mobility? Transparency? Public participation? American dreams?
No! Leave the whining to ordinary people, we are just going to beat our fists to a bloody pulp trying to land a punch on the other guy, 'cause we have absolutely no fucking policies to run on.

Oh, they have policies. They have PLENTY of policies, wise guy. You think they're going to share them with you now? After you've insulted them? With that disparaging attitude of yours? No way. You and Larry King are off the list. Interview canceled. No policies for you, Mr. Smartpants.

This Just In: Palin Supports McCain, Dislikes Obama
As far as I can tell, that's the headline, because I know I sure didn't get anything else out of that speech...

I especially liked the part about every single one of the MSM's talking heads sitting there watching her lie, knowing she was lying, and then calling the speech a "huge success" without a single mention of the obvious. Boy oh boy did she rock that lily-white all-Republican crowd that agrees with her on global warming not being caused by humans, and that the Iraq War was a "task from God." And oh how the trolls will crow about her "triumph" tomorrow...
(only to cry come November.)
Their finest hour? I think so. I can almost hear them, in the very near future, saying "poll numbers are meaningless" after the 'bounce' turns into a roll off of a cliff. Can't wait.
Anybody care to guess which critical must-win swing state goes to McCain after Palin's "smash hit"(CBS)in Minneapolis? My guess is none of them. Of course it does look like McCain may get Alaska now after all, and as we all know -- as Alaska goes, so goes... Wasilla?

I was thinking last night during some of her high praise for McCain's character... "how would you know, you just met him a few days ago"?
Empty empty speech, let's not take the bait and roll in the mud with her, because we know that is what she wants.
