Financials given free Health Care
Yes, we've lived to see free health care given to banks.
The banks lived on easy street. Had no discipline. Gorged on fees for loans that they knew were poisonous. Sated themselves with fancy derivatives - making poor bets look like a million bucks. Got addicted to their own hype. And the hedge funds right along with them. The insurers right along with them. Fannie and Freddie too.
And when their risky behavior finally showed up in the form of a cancer on the body politic, did they have pay to cure themselves? No!
Think about it! We are a nation of humans. But when it comes to national health care, it's financial corporations who get it! While the humans are left to sicken and die on their own.
The ownership society. Where you own your sickness. But the government hands out free emergency health care to sick banks and insurance companies and mortgage giants.
Isn't it about time the people got the same deal?
Obama gets it. He'll make sure we all get health care.

Sometimes you have to treat the sick guy first, even if it seems unfair, because he is the one who is contagious.

How we can explain this to people? Why has healthcare as an issue
been missing recently from the political conversation? Thanks for this post.

When I called the offices of my elected Representative and Senators this morning, I asked, why if money was unavailable for allowing those of us with no health insurance to buy some, why is there money to be found (and quickly) when the 'big guys' need some?
