Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail
I apologize, but I'm so furious right now with something I've just seen on the Internet regarding Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin that I felt I needed to address it. It's something truly loathsome and contemptible. Unfortunately, it requires graphics to truly appreciate its absolute heinousness, and I don't know how to embed those here. This kind of thing is beneath us, folks. It is contemptible and despicable and we need to expect better of each other.

I agree with the post, but is this picture, in fact, a cut and paste with (i.e.) photoshop and not a genuine image of Palin?

As I mentioned on my blog page, I pretty quickly found the original source for the Palin head on the bikini picture. And if you blow up the bikini picture and look closely at the neck area, you can see where the morph was done. It's a nice job, but not seamless. So, yes, it's a cut and paste, not a genuine image of Palin. Sorry to disappoint you.
