That was great. I sent the link to my whole "political" e-mail list. Thanks

Biden's speech is just typical weak-ass Democratic blather. None of those wussies have any conviction about fuck-all!
You call Biden's fuddy-duddy tut-tutting criticism of the sadistic perverts Palin and McCain?
It sounds like somebody spilled a cup of tea at his teaparty!
For the real deal, read this.

The idea that Biden is an "attack dog," reminds me of a Monty Python video on Youtube, where a very meek gentleman tells an employment counselor that he wants to be a lion tamer.
"Lions... Those adorable furry little creatures that scamper under the sawdust as soon as you open their cage!"
Joe Biden is just another Democratic hamster, and we really need a lion.

While you weenies give handjobs to each other, I'm fighting it out with the neo-cons on
NewsBusters with 50 comments and still not deleted!
Those clowns are almost as stupid as CVille Dem!
But just keep jerking each other off and flashing the choir with CVille Dem and hrebendorf and the rest of the clowns.
That's all you're good for.
Any real fighters who may have wandered onto the site may want to contemplate battling with the real opposition on sites like NewsBusters.
It's actually sort of interesting... at least, more interesting than listening to Obamabots moan over their insipid Messiah.

I want to see her beat to a pulp, verbally, in the debate with Biden. Best would be to watch as she breaks into tears because he hurt her feelings or something.
I can't wait to see it. I would pay to see it. I think it ought to be promoted by Don King as the beating of the century.
It's as though Pay Per View had a Mike Tyson v. Rodney Coleman fight and people actually would want to see it.

Yay us - you gotta love being a Democrat; we have the truth on our side.
and they have 8 years of utter failure on theirs.

Fuck yes! I like Joe Biden a whole lot more all of a sudden.

You go, Joe!!!
I do so adore that man.
When I see something like that, or look at Obama's speech again, esp while still having the lingering "bad taste" of Palin's speech, I think that I'll just not be able to bear it if these two very fine men don't wind up winning. Just not bear it.
--- But THEN I remind myself that the election isn't over yet and there are things I can do still. So..... I make another donation, write another friend, sign up for some more volunteer time in PA (closest swing state).
And pray. (I have never prayed about politics before -- but I am this year. It really feels that important.)

That's the stuff that makes all the difference Liz!

THANK YOU for working in PA! We need all the help we can get. As of right now, I think we will win the state - but I'm going to have heartburn for the next two months.

Joe was wonderful!!! Absolutely, wonderful. I am volunteering tomorrow to make phone calls to Nevada since that is one of the toss up states. I live in California.
I really do not like S. Palin at all!!! I saw them on the campaign trail yesterday and she repeated the same jabs(lies) that she said during the convention...in fact, she read her script from a piece of paper and had to keep looking down. I am just hoping that the hype will fade away the longer she stays away from the media and people will start to see this for what it really is.
Why can't she answer questions that are asked of anyone running for office. All the candidates have been under fire from the media, why does she have to have special treatment? Oh I know...she isn't ready for prime time.

Joe Biden, keeping his pimp hand way strong. Beautiful stuff - and all of it on the issues.

Yeah, umm, perhaps avoid that particular turn of phrase in the future?

I really didn't know much about Joe before Obama selected him as VP, but the more I see of him the more the choice makes sense. This is exactly what the Obama campaign needed, and it's exactly what Obama can't do for a host of reasons (for example, it clearly doesn't come naturally to him, and it would make him look like a scary "angry black man" to much of his audience).

Here's a much better version of the clip. Apparently culled directly from video of the event and not from news reports. There's no break. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_t_JxFeDpw&feature=related
