American economy self destructing. For Osama bin Laden, mission accomplished?
Are the bin Laden attacks on America now reaching their summit as our nation's economy plummets?
It's
been more than 7 years since Osama bin Laden sent his crew to fly a few
planes into American landmarks murdering thousands. Was that bin
Laden's primary goal? To knock down a few buildings? Kill a few people?
According
to Osama himself that was not his goal. His plan was reported years ago
as being not to bleed America to death physically but economically.
His
plan has been reported to have been to attack America with the hope
that the American administration would be shell-shocked and OVERREACT
militarily with mindless military spending which eventually would be a
major factor in causing an economic crisis in America. Sad to say, but
it now seems that Osama bin Laden, unlike the American president, can
truthfully and accurately say, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

As much as I hate to agree I remember his video well. Can we really give him credit? I'm not too hip on economic domino-effects but was the Twin Towers the start or did many things have to come together for this to happen? I try to educate myself about what is happening to the stock market right now but what I find keeps taking me back to greed--there are too many "experts" out there but at the same time it is real, our economy will fail. What's the answer?

Bin laden's video statement is not valuable for the truth of the predictions he made or his prescience, but valuable to remind us that many better educated and better placed folks also could see what was coming down the pike if we let the neocons and other sympathetic Repubs/Bushies consolidate power.
