A Republican no longer.

avatar

I'm a Vietnam Vet who fortunately did not have the same experiences as McCain.  But should that be a prerequisite for the presidency?  They've continued to call him a maverick, and independent, however let's not forget that he voted along with the Bush administration over 90% of the time, including 19 times against increasing veterans benefits.  These republicans will say anything and do anything to get power, and their priority is always their party.  As expected, they continuously use their scare tactics, increased governement, increased taxes, more threats from terrorists. I should not have been surprised to hear them criticize the current democratic controlled house and senate for lack of legislation.  How can anything get passed in either house when the republicans in both houses are on a pace to set a new record for filibusters?  I'll never again cast another vote for any republican, and am changing my registration as soon as possible.
