A Mission From GOD!

Well, folks...  Apparently we've been to hard on "Georgie", Dick "The Monster" Cheney, "Rummy", Condi, et.al., they're not neo-con chicken hawks, they, like the Blues Brothers, are on a mission from GOD!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080903/ap_on_el_pr/cvn_palin_iraq_war

Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin thinks GOD wanted our brave American troops dead and horribly wounded.  Oh, and by the way, GOD also wants a natural gas pipeline in Alaska.

This is the final confirmation that GOD is a Republican.  Give up all you communist cowards who call yourself Democrats!  What's the use of fighting the far right when GOD is on their side?

Here are statistics from Iraq as of today:

http://www.antiwar.com/casualties/

The ultra-right-wing of the Republican party want us to believe these losses were justified in order to please GOD.

Good luck selling that to the parents who've lost their child in this ridiculous neo-con endeavor.

If this stuff doesn't make you dizzy, you're probably a member of that 29% who still think there is ANYTHING this administration has done correctly.   ( I started to write "right" but thought better of it)

It's sad and disgusting when religion is used to justify war.  History indicated many times that has been the case and it never ended well.

I'm old enough to remember Jerry Falwell ran in the Republican primary and carried a couple of states.  GOD help us if these religious nuts keep control of our government.

Nearly 125 Shot Dead In Chicago Over Summer
Total Is About Double The Death Toll In Iraq

According to the Defense Department, 65 soldiers were killed in combat in Iraq. About the same number were killed in Afghanistan over that same period.

In the same time period, an estimated 245 peopl

Barack Obama 09/04/2008

The troop surge in Iraq has been more successful than anyone could have imagined, Barack Obama conceded Thursday in his first-ever interview on FOX News’ “The O’Reilly Factor.”

As recently as July, the Democratic presidential candidate declined to rate the surge a success, but said it had helped reduce violence in the country. On Thursday, Obama acknowledged the 2007 increase in U.S. troops has benefited the Iraqi people

“I think that the surge has succeeded in ways that nobody anticipated,”

Yada, yada, yada.... Limbaugh talking points. You hit the nail on the head, Lt.... IDIOCY!

Time will tell

Chuck,

Barack Obama said that the surge of American forces in Iraq has ``succeeded beyond our wildest dreams,''

You were dead wrong.

Haditha, John Edwards, Iraq Surge, Afghanistan, Economy, General Petraeus,etc..

Have you forgotten??

I haven't.

I was disappointed by John Edwards but I was not wrong about him. He made a bad mistake and did a selfish thing which was wrong but he'd still be a better president than Bush OR McCain. If the Enquirer story turns out to be true and Palin had an affair with her husband's business partner, will you condemn her to Hell like you'd like to with John Edwards? Or will you take the typical Republican route of being a moronic hypocrit?

As for the other idiotic arguments you make, time will tell. Petraeus sold his soul to the neo-con monsters like McCain did and history will prove that. He should be ashamed to have lied and caved to Bush for future political ambitions.

Haditha... We may never know the truth but your blind allegiance proves only one thing: You don't let a little thing like facts get in the way of your opinion.

Afghanistan... Are you serious? It's a catastrophe and it will get worse until we send more troops to die there.

The economy!... -344.65 today. The billionaires have managed to manipulate the market so far but it is inevitable that market forces will take it where reality knows it should be. So far, the Fed and the rich have managed to keep it above 11,000 when it should be around 8,000. We'll see where it winds up but I wouldn't be gloating so much if I were you. It just makes you look more idiotic than if you'd remain quiet. "They" and you know that if the market crashes, there is no longer ANY argument that Bush's policies and the do-nothing Republican Congress allowed it to happen.

Finally, the surge... Sunnis and Shiites have been killing each other for centuries. The few months of cease fire the neo-cons have bought with the blood of our troops and hundreds of billions of dollars is temporary. History is an interesting subject. You should really try reading sometimes.

Listening to your ramblings is more difficult each day. I'm glad you've had these few days to be high on the rhetoric in St. Paul. Unfortunately for you, the high times will be over after tonight. You'll have to deal reality again. Then again, you can continue to watch Faux News and listen to Rush and think everything will be fine.

After November, unless Bush/Cheney et.al. do something to stop the election, the Democrats will have a majority in both houses and Obama in the White House.

I wonder if you'll continue to be so blatantly idiotic after that.
