1932 Redux
I remember that after the 1932 elections and before the inauguration ( in March at that time) Hoover and the rethugs tried to play FDR by getting him to sign on to their idea of a bi-partisan "solution" that would have locked him, and the incoming Democratic Congress, into a "republican" bailout of wall street while leaving main street behind,
FDR wisely "went on vacation" and refused to be played.
Perhaps this should be an object lesson for todays D's and Obama.
Don't get played and locked into a Republican plan that with its failure in a year will reflect on the incoming administration rather then the present administration.
