Who Plays Santa At Candidate's Home(s)
Yes folks, Christmas is just around the corner. Santa's most likely got his elves working on new toys already and children are starting to come up with ways to be 'good' so that they may get what they wish for on Christmas day.
Thoughts of Christmas brought a few questions to my mind.
Who does the shopping for gifts in each of the political candidates homes? Is it the wife, Michelle Obama or Cindy McCain? Or do Barack Obama and John McCain do the shopping? Perhaps Barack and Michelle go together to buy the gifts and perhaps John and Cindy go together too.
Do the candidates need to set aside (save) money they will spend each year on the kids and family? Do they have limits to the amount they will spend?
Who makes the plans for the holiday dinners and gatherings? Do they hold holiday parties? Who handles those? Are there specialty chefs involved? Costumes and music? How many guests can their home (s) hold? Who watches the children while the party is held? Are there security guards involved? Are special invitatons created and mailed out? Who does that? Who cleans up after the party or dinner?
Who hires the most assistants to do all of the above?
Last but not least -- who puts up the Christmas tree every year? And if they own more than one home, is a tree put up at each? Who plays Santa?
Wouldn't you just love to hear the answers to these questions?
I'm taking bets as to which candidate did the most of these things.

The Obamas don't approve of gifts - they don't buy them for Christmas or birthdays.

I have no idea. All I know is that they themselves said in a recent magazine interview that they don't believe in giving the girls Christmas and birthday presents. That doesn't mean they don't allow the girls to have toys.
