Wall Street Journal Digital Network - Commentary -Why McCain Would Be a Mediocre President
Sorry, the link didn't post the first time.
The king of no substance is John McCain; all tactics and no over arching strategies. Whatever he heard last is what he goes with. It's tiresome to hear him say over and over - " I know how to do this or I know how to fix that" without ever following up with details. That's offering nothing but slogans. I don't think he knows as much as he'd like us to think he does. Time to tell us how John!
Absolutely worth the read:

Maybe this sounds like heresy, but for a moment, just now, I "felt" how it must be to be John McCain, a second rater who has ambition that is unsupported by talent or vision, to see the world turn their eyes to a young, bright purveyor of hope and change... what a bitter gall on his lips. No wonder it was so easy for him to decide to go negative. I have read somewhere that he loved the Star Wars trilogy... what a shame that ultimately he decided to become Darth Vader.

...I think this should be required reading for absolutely everyone who can vote this election.

Very succinct, and so true, too. I would give my left pinkie toe to have someone ask John during a debate if he accepts any responsibility for the current mortgage crisis; as it had its origins in the Keating 5 Scandal.
That would make the old temper pop, I'll bet!
