The system has been running really slow today...Unless I miss my guess, this person hit send, didn't see it come up, hit send again, didn't see it, got more and more frustrated, then all of a sudden 6 or more popped up...may well not have been intentional...Aunt Sam experienced difficulty getting on earlier but didn't keep reposting...I'm assuming the 2 are related? I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt...

I wouldn't be so charitable. But even so, a 1-post-per-hour limit would prevent even unintentional spam.

I'm in for that.

Now.... how about 1 a day? Raise quality, force more concentration by posters, produce more intensive comments on fewer, better posts.

Then again, limiting me to 3 comments a day might help as well.

In fairness, I do not think the person about whom you refer, was spamming.

But if you're going to apply controls to who can post when, let us add a block for the person(s) who post the Age of Conan and other game posts every Friday evening under various pseudonyms.

Let us also demand a better user interface, with spellcheck and preview functions so people can fix formatting without reposting, so Microsoft Word documents paste into the blog box correctly and not cut off.

Let us demand that all post for a given day -- not just the most recent 25 -- be available all day.

Let us demand that the Reader Posts be given its own navigation separate from the Cafe section, since more of "us" post here anyway.

Goof ups and multiple posts are annoying, but often there is a reason out of the posters control.

I so agree. The commercial ads should never be allowed.

We need some type of button to click to report a post as commercial ad.

And I support also that each day all posts should be available to review for at least 12 hours!

Today, some were up for only a few minute (I went into archives and there were some very good ones that few got to even notice, much less read and comment!).

Sorry Guys.

I was posting and the browser was telling me that it wasn't going through and I would try again. I would repost instead of refresh. As a hilarious aside, I even tried to put stars in all of the swear words because I thought it was blocking me because of the harsh language. I didn't know that i had Fucked up till I checked later on and saw that I had Several of the Same Blogs up and the comments were not so happy. So again folks. My bad
