The PUMAs
OK just like the toothache you just have to keep touching with your tongue I went over to the Confluence to see what they said about Hillary's speech...and at PUMA central it seems the current opinion is that it was such an amazing speech it shows why Hillary should have won. Therefore, they're going to vote for McCain. This very much reminds me of the Life of Brian.. They're all set to follow Hillary regardless of her wishes. Do they even pay attention to John McCain's history with women and his lack of support for them?

Those people are just closet Republicans. They're not Democrats, they never were Democrats, they don't care about Democratic issues, they're mean and green, and they suck.

I think that the PUMA "phenonmenon" has nothing whatsoever to do with politics or the country or anything except anger. The primary season has just been another Billie Jean King/Bobby Riggs tennis match (anyone old enough to remember that?) A Battle of the Sexes. That's the fight they are fighting or they would either follow the person they say they respect so much and/or look to their own interests and think about what life would be like under McCain. Nothing else makes sense. Sad.

Actually, now we'll be able to tell who they are just by looking at them. They will be all the people running around with the noses hacked off their faces...
I'm pretty sure they were all Republicans to begin w/ who deluded themselves into thinking they could vote for a Democrat as long as it was Hillary.
Sad. Indeed.

There is no "Puma phenomenon." Though there ARE bona-fide Hillary supporters out there who are genuinely disappointed that Hillary didn't win the nomination, they aren't about to throw our future to the wolves.
Puma-pac was created by Republican trolls itching to create a make-believe "rift within our party and the Democrats who might have been taken in by it have since opted out. We'll be sticking together come election day. Have no fear.

Some have said that many (almost all) of the people calling themselves PUMAs were not Democrats before the primaries. Before her speech at the convention it was hard to be too sure. But now 8/27/08 it's easier to be sure about any Hillary supporter who comes out with negativity against Obama.
Anyone who supports Hillary Clinton, heard her speech and still says they will vote McCain is Highly Suspect. Maybe Limbaugh motivated mischief makeers, or Republican operatives of some kind. Or,....? After her convention Speech it would defy a sledgehammer-level of obvious logic to vote Mccain in the name of support for Hillary Clinton.
I suppose the media would never consider that any nobel Republicans could be so dishonest in such a calculated way.

The crazed person yesterday said it all. She is voting for McCain because she has a "17 page report from a Congressional investigator" that proves Obama was a muslim when he was 4 years old. She won't say who the investigator was, but she "offered" to share the report with Chris Matthews?????
She is no disaffected Democrat. She is on the payroll of John McCain. They should have picked someone a little more sensible and credible, but she and her merry band of 40 losers can keep screaming and can vote as they wish.
They do themselves no favors, and they also don't hurt Hillary because they are so shallow and shrill -- Oh, and they're not Democrats, either.
