Smell That Reichwinger Fear!

avatar

From the Ministry of Truth comes the official Republican response to Obama's speech, delivered by McCain spokesman Brian Rogers (who is quickly approaching Tucker Bounds territory in his puerility).

Tonight, Americans witnessed a misleading speech that was so fundamentally at odds with the meager record of Barack Obama. When the temple comes down, the fireworks end, and the words are over, the facts remain: Senator Obama still has no record of bipartisanship, still opposes offshore drilling, still voted to raise taxes on those making just $42,000 per year, and still voted against funds for American troops in harm's way. The fact remains: Barack Obama is still not ready to be President.

Rogers trotted out most every lie and distortion the GOP has available.  I'm surprised the names Ayers, Rezko and Wright didn't appear in this hogwash.

This is some seriously weak sauce.  And I can't believe they really want to bring up military voting records, when John McCain has received failing grades from SEVERAL veterans' organizations.

If this and Swift Boat stuff is all Senator Straight Talk's got in his Colt .45, he really should grab some Ambien and just wake up on November 5.

Ahhhh....I love the smell of freshly roasted Republican terror in the evening!

That sounds like it was written BEFORE the speech. That crap was WEAK.
