A little bit of angst crept over the blogopolis with the gutsy (?) selection of Alaska’s Governor Sarah Palin as Sen. John McCain’s running mate.  The oddity of the selection caught everyone off guard, but in a McCain-esque sort of way, it makes sense: A woman who is an archconservative and as outside the Beltway as physically possible – doesn’t get any better than that!
