Palin supported Stevens: scrubbing the sites
I submitted this before but it didn't get posted, so apologies if a duplicate suddenly appears. Check out bluehampshire, (http://www.bluehampshire.com/frontPage.do) which reports that websites are being scrubbed of Palin news. Here is a cached quote of Palin supporting Stevens: "It is so encouraging to hear again that Senator Stevens and I are singing from the same sheet of music,"
said Governor Palin. "In his address, he pushed for action this year on
a natural gas pipeline. I also have the Senator's assurance that once
the state has acted on the AGIA, our Congressional Delegation will do
everything it can do to expedite the federal review of the natural gas
pipeline project." Who is doing the scrubbing?

It would be an excellent idea to send this to some of the leading papers who are currently busy looking into her background - start w/ WaPo and NYT. I'd send it both to the Editors and also pick out a couple of journalists who are currently posting good, probing articles about her and send it to them directly.

I don't know whether you saw my comment, (I'm still learning how to use this blog and didn't see the reply button at first) but I have written Kate Zernike and the managing editor at NY Times (Kate had an article about Palin today) and Dan Balz and other reporters who are doing background stories at WAPO. I hope someone picks up on it. Thanks for your suggestion. I'm just learning about this activism thing and how it works with the web. I really hope the information will start to pour out to show that she's not a maverick (any more than McCain) or a reformer. I recognize she may be a nice person, but...

Thanks, Carol. I have e-mailed editors at the NY Times, reporters who have recently written about Palin at the NY Times, and also reporters who have recently written about Palin at the WAPO, including Dan Balz. Hopefully, someone will find this useful.
I appreciated your suggestion.
