Obamabots Rage While Obama Collapses

Remember way, way back when Obama looked like such a winner?

"The latest numbers from the Rasmussen Reports Balance of Power Calculator show Obama leading in states with 193 Electoral College votes and McCain ahead in states with 183 Electoral College votes. <b>Previously, Obama had enjoyed a 210–165 advantage.</b>"

The Obamabots are still race-baiting and cursing Hillary Clinton, and anyone else who doesn't worship their hypocritical Messiah, but now the magic of race-baiting is gone.

What's left?

Obama never had anything to recommend him except winning a couple of elections, and now that he looks like a loser...

What's left for the Obamabots to worship?

Nothing.

A few questions for raging Obamabots:

Is there a more repulsive item in the Republican domestic agenda than the Bankruptcy "Abuse" Prevention and Consumer "Protection" Act of 2005, which Joe Biden supported?

Why did Obama lie about filibustering the FISA bill when he was campaigning in Wisconsin with Russ Feingold?

Now that the Iraqis are chasing us out in 2010, what's the difference between McCain's "100 years" and Obama's 16 months?

Does Obama have a definite date for withdrawing our brave soldiers from the shit-hole of Afghanistan, where we just killed 76 civilians in one bombing run, and gradually destabilized Pakistan?

Why did Obama attack Hillary Clinton again and again and again about NAFTA, and then support NAFTA-Peru himself?

Why did Obama totally abandon his homeless high-school friend Keith Kakugawa?

Democrats are supposed to care about the little guys at the bottom of the economic order, but if Obama won't even help his friend, what can the rest of us expect if the bottom really falls out of the economy?

Maybe some advice about how to find the nearest Salvation Army office?

That's all Obama gave Keith Kakugawa.

One simple question for Jacob:

Who do you SUPPORT for president?

Cute.

Fail.

According to Vietnam POWs John McCain is a lying traitor ...

Hillary Clinton, you say? Her political career is over. Okay, not her political career as a Senator from New York. As far as I know (although I do know some New Yorkers who say they'll never vote for her again).

But she might as well hang up her aspirations ever to be the Democratic nominee for President. And for that she can thank her PUMA-like supporters, who have apparently decided to toss her career onto the funeral pyre of their rage at Sen. Obama.

I think I want out of the Democratic party.

Forget "Obamabots," it's not about them anymore:
Charlie Cook, Cook Political Report, August 2:

....These findings dovetail with Hart's conclusion after conducting focus groups in Albemarle County, Va., and York, Pa., over the past three months: Obama is the defining candidate in the race. Whether voters support Obama or McCain, it is their opinion of Obama that drives their decision.

That explains why Obama has only a 6-point lead even though Republicans are trying to hold the White House for a third consecutive term....

...now the general election appears likely to come down to how Obama wears with voters over time. As Republican pollster Neil Newhouse puts it, "In order to win this election, Obama's challenge seems less that he needs to overcome John McCain; rather, he needs to overcome doubts voters have about himself. This election is clearly more about Barack Obama than it is either about John McCain or even President Bush."

It's pretty clear that Obama's strength among African-Americans is very durable: He could pull more than 90 percent of the African-American vote and pump up that bloc's turnout to perhaps a quarter higher than in 2004. Similarly, despite predictions that rivalries between African-American and Hispanic leaders and voters and McCain's strengths might allow the GOP to eat into Democratic support among Hispanics, polling shows that Obama is well above the 60 percent that John Kerry received in 2004. And Obama is also doing well with white voters younger than 50.

The real question is about the "gray whites"--that is, white voters who are 50 or older. If they embrace Obama in meaningful numbers, perhaps one-third or a bit more, he will become the next president. If they decide against him, he will lose.

Charlie Cook, Cook Political Report, August 24,:
his only post so far after that one. The title says it all:
Biden Pick Means Obama Means Business....

What suprises me about your post is that you are still so concerned with "Obamabots." This race going forward clearly appears as it is going to have little to do with Obama "supporters" of both bot and non-bot variety, except for them to keep opening up their wallets. I've read a lot of your posts and I believe you're doing the hyperbole (i.e., "rage," "collapses") just to bait. Why? What use does that serve? Definitely cuts your credibility, makes it look like you are more into getting back at internet gangs than in politics.

oops, for working links for the above:

My reply to your thoughtful comment got lost way down the thread, so I might as well repost it.

Obama's campaign made him a lot of enemies by constantly playing the race card against Hillary Clinton, even assuming that Obama wasn't directing the race-baiting himself.

"Obamabots," meaning low-IQ fanatics, made the primaries a lot more antagonistic than they had to be by filling the internet with ridiculous accusations about Hillary Clinton plotting the assassination of Barack Obama, and calling everybody who supported her a "racist."

Obama's friends have called me a "racist" so many times, beginning way back when my posts were a lot less... let's just say, reciprocal, that eventually I begin to wonder who Obama would bring with him if he ever makes it to the White House.

Obamabots constantly try to drown out reasonable questions about Obama's entourage, and the obvious anti-Americanism of Michelle Obama and Jeremiah Wright. But millions of voters will judge Obama at least in part by the company he keeps, and the damage that his entourage can do to Obama's candidacy is by no means exhausted, as you seem to optimistically assume.

The non-robot is tired of sore losers still kvetching, and will point out that Rev. Wright served his country for six years, and is therefore not anti-American, (your only evidence is out-of-context) that Michelle is as proud of her country as I am finally am (she had reservations until recently, as did I), and that Obama's name was not even mentioned during Rezko's trial, (except for newspapers saying it was not mentioned).

Now you know who Obama would bring to the White House: Joe Biden, and other experienced heads. Tell us truly, what do you want? President McCain? Or do you just like venting?

Aside for chiming in as your typically asshole self, was there a reason for this post?

I swear, you fucking Hillary-Hangers take the cake. You act like you've never participated in a campaign before.

Whatever, dude. I'm closer to exiting the stage than you are; enjoy the fascist misery your antics shall bring down upon your ears.

I swear, you fucking Hillary-Hangers take the cake. You act like you've never participated in a campaign before.

Don't they just? Not a day goes by that the Hillary camp or Bill or the PUMAs or some combination thereof isn't offended and aggrieved about something. Some imagined slight of Hillary or her supporters, some failure to provide them the opportunity for full catharsis in a public setting (that for some reason never quite arrives, does it?). Jesus, it goes on and on and on.

May Hillary Clinton and her supporters drop off the end of the fucking earth when this is all over. And if they don't, there has got to be a better way.

One day our great-grandchildren will be studying in their history classes about the death of the Democratic party and the rise (finally) of a viable third party. Or a new second party.

"And so you see, class, ironically, it was Hillary Clinton, who went on to lose her Senate seat and never held political office again who led to the rise of the NMC party, which originally stood for "No More Clintons" but later became the "New Middle Class."

Feh. A pox on the fucking lot of them.

Am in complete (albeit still bemused) agreement, Lynn Dee. I mean: did these people fall off the proverbial turnip cart yesterday??

Let's see... in just recent years I've had to assuage my wounds after the following candidates ultimately lost to other, well-organized & popular Democratic candidates:

Howard Dean. Wesley Clark. Joe Biden. Dennis Kucinich. Jerry Brown. etc. etc.

Did I fucking threaten to hold my breath til I turned blue & otherwise bring down the entire party apparatus down about my (and everybody else's) ears??

NO!

And why??

Because I am a goddamn DEMOCRAT first and foremost.

Desidero. Lalo. Fogu2. ALL these people can go FUCK themselves, in my now-jaundiced eye.

It's MY child's future these childish morons are threatening. Damn straight I'm furious!

OMG, a fellow-Californian.

Should've known you on-site by your 'tude, Lynn.

;-)

Amen, coral sea.

And under a Pres. McCain? Choice? Good bye. Civil liberties (those that are left)? Good bye. And war at the least twitch of his hair trigger temper.

But they know all this. They are, as you say, children holding their breaths. I wonder if they could be encouraged to "show us" by going out back and eating worms. There, over yonder, by the oleander tree.

Hope they enjoy the shade yonder tree provides. Goddess knows, its days are numbered under a McSame regime.

Absolutely horrifies me to ponder a future under another neocon feifdom. Talks with my daughter and her friends about such a future make my blood turn to ice. They appreciate too-fully that a McCain presidency will relegate their collegiate dreams to military dust. And they are so fucking NOT down with that plan!

We will do everything in our power to protect your daughter's future, CoralSea. She matters. She and her peers deserve a better world than the one reckless egomaniacs like George W. have created.
This most recent wave of bitter remarks by those of Hillary's supporters who can't move on is revealing.
Does it strike you that the more strident among them seem to have an "all about me" mentality? That their demands on behalf of Hillary may really be just thinly-disguised opportunities to voice the entitled attitudes they have themselves?
I don't know how it happened, but something in the Hillary campaign struck a chord in people who themselves have entitlement issues; it is they, as compared to the majority of former HRC supporters, who persist in demanding yet another show of respect, another demonstration of homage, another whatever ...which as Lynn Dee suggests, is apparently insatiable, unquenchable.
It would be interesting to know how many of this sub-group are only children. As it would be interesting to know how many of them actually have children of their own, whose future is in their hands.
Thanks, btw, for your support yesterday on another thread. You might enjoy checking back to see the response I left later in the day.

Jacob Freeze, you are such a frigging tool. A veritable suppository -- oops, I mean repository -- of Republican and Clinton promoted lies.

What a sorry display by a footnote to history.

I agree. Obama cultists are full of hatred.

No, cockroach. Democrats want to see a Democrat elected, not brought down by narcissitic tools who can't accept that the primaries are fucking over and the general election has begun.
